Relatable!
This book! Damn I didn't knew at first that this book would have so much inside it. Though the title is so common, the content and the story was much more than that! It was so heart touching and relatable that this too can happen with someone's life and we wouldn't have been aware of that! Such books make us realize that a lot go around us in our own surroundings and yet we behave like our life only is so important than anyone else! If anyone want to feel what a "life" could mean to himself/herself or to anyone else, this book is highly recommended! And I would like to thank the author for writing with such a simplicity and tranquility that anyone would feel what she wants to express! Hats off to the author who after so much happenings in her life still completed her book! #respect

Lessons of Life via Love Story!
I am very happy that I chose to read this book as my first read of 2021.Commendable job by the author to weave a fun-filled, ambitious and an emotional love story that emphasizes on certain important life lessons.Meera, a HR Manager, is passionate about writing a book. However she's still in search of a proper story. Post her office, Meera spends time in a Coffee Café where book launches too take place. On one such launch, she's mesmerized by an answer given by a smart young man in response to the author's question to him. It immediately strikes to Meera that it is the story of this young man, named Vivaan which she will write. Eventually both become good friends and at a time when Meera decides to express her feeling to Vivaan, an unexpected situation arises. Vivaan goes off the radar and none knows where he is.When Vivaan returns back and shares his story to Meera, she's devastated. A tragedy occurs to Meera and Vivaan is devastated.Do they share their feelings to each other? Will Meera come out of her tragedy? What part do Kabir and Nisha play in this story?Read this soothing book to find out.

A decent debut!
This is debut novel from Savi Sharma and I heard a lot of buzz around this on amazon and other sites. I just grabbed my copy out of curiosity. Have tried couple of fiction pieces from Indian authors recently and none of them made me move beyond the initial few pages. I was ending up with unfinished books and did not want this one to add to that queue. So when there was nothing else to do on a rainy afternoon, I picked this one and must say the first few pages are definitely engrossing that I continued further without realizing till I was half way through it.The initial setup of the cafe, an aspiring author, a banker with a hint of mystery, the other parallel leads, were all simple but interesting. But half way through, the plot and proceedings become predictable. The story hits a sluggish path and the initial promise slowly starts vanishing. The ending is also very predictable and pre-climax is dramatic. The story of the parallel leads is also not well conceived and just left as supporting characters. They did show promise at one point which was not developed further. The plus points are the short length of the book which can be completed in a single go, in less than 2 hours. The characters are simple, their emotions, feelings, dilemmas and aspirations are narrated beautifully. There is a certain positivity that is maintained through out the book which gives feel-good vibes. The Radha-Meera silent thread and comparison is a subtle effect by the author. The simplicity is a plus for the book as well as lack of major interesting twists also gives a bit of incomplete feeling towards the end. There are no additional characters introduced as the story does not move beyond the four characters. Which makes the readers wonder at some point about the families and other personal details of these characters. The book will be instantly liked by teenagers and people who love chick lit stories. I definitely found it to be worth a one time read but I am not sure if I will go back anytime soon, as there is nothing superb to make it a repeat read.It is more of a Bollywood love story or a daily soap with a predictable story line. However the author shows good promise for a debut novel and can do better with a more interesting story next time.

Beautiful
Beautiful is the word that comes to my mind , my soul when I try to recollect what I read about Meera , Vivian, Nisha and Kabir . How beautifully the lives of these 4 different people was Cowen but together just describes us the beauty of God's creation - life ! If you are meant to be together , then the destiny will find its own way to make you meet the person who is meant for you. It can be a handsome , dark , tall man sitting right behind you sipping a cup of black coffee in 'coffee and us '. Beautifully as the story is described it also provokes our mind to find our own little story of happiness ,struggle , friendship , survival and moreover a story of "us"-story of the self .Meera a free spirited girl and an aspiring author teaches to be cheerful and hopeful to live our dreams come what may .Kabir on the other hand wears a beautiful warm smile to greet everyone he meets despites of the hardships in his own life ."Vivan" with his earnest wish to travel the world holds a firm image and carries out his responsibility as good as he can.And , Nisha on the other hand taught that love can make you do anything ! Leaving her well-earning family she married Kabir having less luxury yet more love ! And in the end , love is all that matters I guess . You can't leave with mere money if it is not added with love 🧡

Repetitive narrations
Too many similar paras made it so difficult to even reach the end. Some parts of the story were difficult to understand..The storyline resembled a couple of Bollywood movies and I sincerely hoped that it wouldn't..Some lines were a good take away but overall this was too cheesy to read..i had picked a random book from kindle unltd , a decision i now regret..Hate to gv bad reviews, as I know it's definitely not easy to write a book.. however some books are either too awesome or too boring that force u to write one..

The author's style of writing was really quite good. It was easy to project myself onto the page and experience the story vicariously with the other characters.
