Q: Does this pump require an exhaust filter to use indoors? will the pump accept a kf25/nw25 clamp/flange fitting?

this pump is OIL filled rotary vane pumps, it has 2 -stage mechanics for deep vacuum. the oil mist output from this 2 stage pump is much better than a single stage pump. But, in a closed space, like indoor operation, you will feel the oil mist after an hour or so of running. The connection to the exhaust piece is 1/2 NPT. you may find muffler/oil eliminator with this size of connection. If you already have a oil mist filter, try to find an adapter from 1/2 NPT or flange connection. thank you for asking.
