Consensual non-monogamy is an increasingly popular discussion among young adults who are not certain that exclusive monogamy is for them. For those who would appreciate an academic approach to that subject that is also grounded in philosophy, this is your book. I can imagine this as an appropriate text for a college classroom that would create an exciting discussion.

I was seeking something to give both my parents and my partners parents to read but the book is far too “academic” with its verbiage. It felt like the author was writing with a thesaurus next to them seeking extravagant words in order to make themselves appear highly intelligent. The content is extremely important but the book missed the mark with its readability.
