Maya The Bee [DVD]

Bought still to practise german with my students as it is originally german language, but only option is english. Really disappointed by the lack of choice offered by amazon in terms of media in multiple languages.

I bought this for my young son and he loves it. It is a lovely film. We saw it at the cinema. I noticed when we saw it at the cinema that the sound was quite low. The sound is also quite low on the DVD. I assume the film was made with a quite soundtrack so don't send it back if you find you have to turn your TV up high to hear it. I do recommend this film. It is charming.

My little absolutely loves Maya the bee. The only downside is that it's very quiet. We play this DVD in the car and on max volume you can barley hear the sound. The commercial before the movie is normal...awkward...

My daughter loves this movie. She has it on repeat, especially the songs.

This film has kept my 4 year old entertained for hours, he spent a whole day watching it on repeat! He did ask where Maya had gone when he heard the Australian accent, which is different from the version he watches on the television but he soon got used to this and it wasn't a problem. The storyline, which is a prequel to the tv series, would also make a great introduction to new fans of the show.

2 year old daughter loves it. A little bit more tense than the sequel is, but still good.

Brilliant movie based on the childrens show Maya the bee. Filled with lots of nature and bright colours and songs, this is a lovely bit of approved screen time for little ones.
