Excellent product
I recently purchased the ALTIMOD Emergency Survival whistle and I am extremely impressed with the quality and durability of this product. The whistle produces a loud and clear sound and it is perfect foroutdoor activities. It's compact, durable and affordable, I would definitely recommend this whistle.

Good for its price
Torch is very strong and lights up a good area, thermostat and compass seem to work well aswell as the reflector just the magnification lense that lets it down as you can’t clearly see through it other than that good whistle for hiking

Button didn't work
Received it today and had to take it apart to get it to actually start working. The battery is not easy to access.

A novelty item... not for survival
The media could not be loaded. In summary, it looks quite good, seems well made and feels good in the hand. The compass is inaccurate, the whistle is quiet (or silent if you blow hard!), the temperature gauge works but is hard to read (it's also in Fahrenheit) and the torch (which only illuminates while you press the button) is bright but doesn't shine far.I actually like it! As a novelty item for a child it would be great! But go with them and take your own compass!

May not work
The compass function on this product does not work that well and is not functioning properly. Other than the compass the whistle function was really helpful for when your in a forest or somewhere else.

Great whistle for taking hiking
You absolutely never know when you may need an emergency whistle - this one is great for storing in your rucksack - make sure you get one!
