I was shocked and very disappointed at the quality of this item. Bought for my son to wear for Titanic day at school. The button on the trousers fell off within about a minute of being done up, then he say down and the trou ripped down the trousers ripped open all down the side seam - this was all before school so he went to school wearing different trousers and THANKFULLY I packed him a spare top feeling the same would likely happen to that! By the time he came hone the shoulder had ripped open and the top was also useless... It totally ruined Titanic Day for him and the quality of the costume really was shockingly bad. I can't imagine what would have happened if the trousers had ripped after he got to school.... I might add he is only 9 and the costume was a perfect fit and looked amazing. Just not well made!A couple of points - I can't fault the seller who gave me a full refund. Also a number of other children were wearing the exact same costume and my son tells me none of theirs broke so it appears we were just very unlucky... that doesn't really help my son though who couldn't enjoy his Titanic Day.

I was dubious about ordering this outfit as it has had some negative reviews about the strength of the material, tearing and different sizes in jacket to trousers turning up.So happy we did get it!!The outfit came carefully packaged. The quality was great and in the right sizes.Trousers were a little long but once we popped the white trainers on it didn't matter.Ordered 10-12 for my 10 year old.

Massive! My girl is 8but freely admit she is on the petit size. Had to cute 3 inches off legs and boob darts so it fitted a bit better. She wore it for works book day as captain pug. I sewed a tail on the trousers & ears on the hat. Tip Do NOT iron the material melted

My son wore this for a school play and he was a superstar.......looked like an officer and a gentleman mini man! fantastic suit, really looks the part. He did wear a pair of my leggings underneath because it was see through but that just added to the whole look! Highly recommend this suit!

Bought for my son's birthday as he's Titanic mad and he loves it. He's 9 and I ordered medium which is a good fit, so good he hardly ever takes it off. The quality is good and I think he'll outgrow it rather than any physical damage occuring.

Does its job, very cheap and weak material wouldn’t really recommend

I am extremely unhappy and disappointed. I had a crying child the day before and on the morning of world book day. My son tried his costume on the day before and the seams tore in two places so I then had to sow it ready for world book day. It then ripped again on the morning and in the end had to wear his own trousers with the jacket and was really upset. He then had to take the jacket off during the day because it had ripped everywhere. He was so upset having gone to school in half a costume and came home in no costume. I would like a full refund as not only was it not fit for purpose, I also had a devestated embarrassed child on a day where he should of had a lot of fun with his friends. I look forward to having a response please.
