Dog loves them
Marlee, a miniature Dachshund, loves these chews! She is on her third bag of them and is pressuring me to order more so she doesn't run out. I expected, when I first opened the bag, to find something semi-rigid and "chewable" but instead found what appeared to be very hard, very rigid sticks. First thought was she wouldn't want them and couldn't possibly chew it without breaking her teeth. Wrong on all counts; she loves them, begs for one-a-day (she would happily take several,) and it takes her no more than fifteen minutes to finish it. I worried about her teeth, her stomach, her bowels, but no problems whatever, simply enjoyment on her part. Fair warning...DO NOT smell them when you open the bag! You will be tempted to throw them away. The smell is atrocious, but she loves the smell and, apparently, the taste. Get a bag, or two, your dog will thank you!

Picky pup likes everything we've tried so far
We're happy with this brand . My 14mo cavachon can get bored with treats half way through a bag but he finished everything by this brand. We've probably tried 4 or 5 so far, bully sticks, bites, gullet sticks, twirls . My pup sometimes just buries the classic bully stick, so I haven't purchased those recently. He'll eat any chew surprisingly quick , that being said, of all his chews and treat festival filled kongs over the last year I've given him the Longest lasting chew has been taking the curl version of these and dabbing about a tbsp of peanut butter in random spots. I prob get 15 min of peace, lol! Overall, this brand is good, reliable, offers nice variety to keep pup interested, and value is on market. We're happy and intend to keep purchasing!

Dog Jerky.
Arrived in perfect condition.I got these for a healthier snack/chew for my min pin. At first he just wanted to hide it like he normally does with new things I give him. So I kinda broke the end apart a bit to show him its a snack and after that he went to town chewing and eating it. It doesnt last long for the chewing factor but thats fine as long as he has a lil treat he enjoys. Definitely will buy again if he keeps up enjoying them. Also I dont know how people said they smell horrible. I barely notice any smell at all.*already had to restock! My min pin will now bark at the bag for more thats how much he has come to love these! Although he still will not eat it right away. He finds somewhere to put it and then goes back and chows it down later. Lol!P.s. second bag was waaay smelly. I understand now. Haha. Oh well though.

My dog adores these, but they last less than a minute.
I ordered this along with the tripe twists. Both have been a huge hit with my dog and another pup we've been housesitting. They must smell great because the dogs get extremely excited when I pull them out, and on several occasions I've walked into the room where I left the bags to find both dogs sitting and staring at them hopefully. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem accurate to call these "chews." They are really more like crunchy treats. My dog is still a puppy and a very gentle chewer; he works on a rawhide for weeks before he can get through it, and beef pizzle sticks the same size as these treats take him days to finish. He downed these in a matter of seconds, though, and so did the visiting dog we're house-sitting for, who is smaller than he is -- in fact, she chomped them down twice as fast as he did. I'd be happy to consider them treats instead of chews, except that they really are very hard and I worry he'll ingest pieces of them too quickly and end up with gut obstruction. Because of that concern, I've been doling them out very sparingly and avoiding giving them to one dog while the other is nearby, which seems to encourage even faster chomping (I think he's scared the other dog will snatch it away before he can finish). By "small dogs" the company must mean "chihuahua puppies" because I can't imagine these functioning as genuine "chews" for any dog bigger than that. Whatever you call them, though, he loves eating them.

Dog Approved
Ok I love that Amazon asked me to rate the flavor and smell of a dog treat. HAHA But in all seriousness, my dog LOVES these treats. He is a picky boy. He is not a huge fan of most long-lasting chews (no antlers, raw hide, pig ears, etc...brat dog...LOL) besides bully sticks but those are so stinky and get so gross...I wanted to find him something that wasn't the typical chewy/crunchy treat and this was it. They have a hard crunch and he still chews through them pretty quick - but it reminds me of a bully stick but is so REASONABLY priced. It is definitely his special treat that we give him when he is an extra good boy and I will always have them on hand for him. Thumbs / Paws UP!

Both our dogs loved them!
The size and thickness of the jerky strips were great. We have small dogs and they were able to handle them nicely. They had a good chew with them!

My dogs went crazy for these!
I bought the big bag for my 4 dogs for Christmas. My alpha guarded the Amazon box, snarling at the other dogs and cats that even looked at it, until I opened it up. Oh boy they all could smell the jerky and were up in my face and barking for a bite! I tried to reason with them that they had to wait another month, but when I couldn't bear the pleading in those eyes any longer I opened the package and gave each one a stick. They loved it! I think they are pricey at $1 per treat, especially since I go through 4 at a time for the 4 dogs, but they are a treat, not an every day goodie. They are made with real beef, and for that I am willing to pay a little more.
