Princess of India - deep red flowers on chocolate-green foliage. Height 25 cm. Tom thumb mix - colourful blend ideal for borders. Height 23-30 cm. Peach melba - attractive, distinctive flowers on dark foliage. Good for borders/containers. Height 25 cm. Alaska mix - colourful flower mixture on distinctive "marbled" foliage. Excellent for borders. Height 25 cm. Dayglow mix - semi-trailing mix, excellent for hanging baskets or containers. Very easily grown, versatile s, flowering freely throughout the summer. Happiest in free-draining soil in sunny positions. Flowers are edible and ideal for use in salads. Sow March - June outdoors, flowers June - September. How to grow - Space the seed thinly, direct into finely raked, moist, warm soil where the s are to flower 13 mm deep. Germination takes 10-14 days. As the seedlings develop, thin to achieve a final spacing of 25 cm. Alternatively, for pots or patio containers, sow on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 13-18 degree C, 3 or 4 to a 7.5 cm pot. out after careful acclimatisation to outside conditions.
