Buyer beware... PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU ORDER...I've ordered several sets of lights from Off the Roof and none of them have lasted more than one season. The sets I purchased were used outside for holiday displays and put away dry and in working order. The following season 20-40% of the bulbs did not work. When I inspected the bulbs by removing them I noticed that each one was missing one electrode which corroded away. So I went back to Amazon to review when I purchased them and to look for details and a warranty. I didn't see a warranty but did read the sales pitch below the listing which did influenced my purchasing decision when I originally. Who wouldn't want "LONG-LASTING", "high-quality construction" AND "Outdoor Lights Set boast longer lifespan compared to holiday lights that are equipped with incandescent bulbs"? Now my expectations are for a set of outdoor lights to last many season at least 5 before I would need to replace the entire set. I realize that they have a lifespan but I expected more than 1 season for $30 per set.I contacted Off the Roof and someone nicely took my information and said that they would have someone get back in touch with me. Here was the response I received from Dustin "We offer a 90 day warranty on any holiday lights, as they are designed with a 90 day UL. I will be happy to replace if they went out within the warranty period."I reached out to Off the Roof with some pictures and a request for replacement but they didn't reply. In my opinion Off the Roof is using deceptive marketing and should looked into by the BBB.

These lights are very bright red and very pretty

Bought five packs. They worked the first time putting them up. Less than one year later, half of each string does not work. LED is supposed to outlast incandescent. These strings are crap.

Used these on my 6' White Christmas tree this year and loved them. Worked well and were very bright. One box covered a little over half my tree. Would buy again.

Color is nice. 1/2 worked; 1/2 do not light.

These Lights have worked perfectly for 3 months running every evening. They are on an exterior Railing exposed to the elements. Really grabs passers by attention. Love them.

These lights, while they can produce a nice light during the winter season, do not last very long due to the defective nature of their metal connectors, which will fall off and cause part of the lights to not work. You will lost hours of your time finding which ones have broken and replacing the bulbs. While they might be nice during the period you had them up for, if you expect to use these for more than one season, you will be disappointed (especially if your lights are used outside).Even if you carefully wrap up your lights and store them nicely, you can expect this corrosion to affect your lights and some will not turn on. There must be better lights out there and please take these reviews seriously. There may be folks that have a 5-star experience, as the lights do work for your first season, but Christmas string lights are expected to last many, many years. This is an expectation that is fundamental to any person that buys them.You can only trust reviews that have been reviewed by someone that has owned these for 2-3 (or more) years. I wouldn't consider a review comprehensive unless the person has had success over several seasons. Feel free to contact me with questions.
