Nalgene Sustain Tritan

I love this canteen! It fits mil spec canteen cup very well , nice and snug. Lighter and semi transparent, very durable. I have many other Nalgene bottles but this one is best for hiking and easy access from pack.

On the rare occasion I use a canteen I would like to be able to see through it and make sure its clean and see how much water remains. This is the perfect size for National Guard (I know and I don't care) or civilian to fit into a standard steel canteen cup & cover. I have literally only used the M1 NBC cap to drink through a gas mask twice in 16 years and the USGI canteen sucks! They get nasty, are not transparent, and add little unnecessary weight.I wanted the clear option but went with green because it has a black lid to stand out less. I've been using them for a few months and have no complaints. It's an affordable, lightweight, durable, transparent Nalgene and that's all I asked for.

Did exactly what it said it would. Originally I was concerned about how much give the material had but it seems very sturdy.

I used regular narrow mouth Nalgenes most of the time but I love these for backpacking when the standard Nalgene shape just doesn’t really fit. The material seems thinner than a normal Nalgene but it doesn’t seem to be an issue.Taste is good, sturdy, made in the USA. So good I bought extras as backups.

Good product, but you will pay

It’s like everything else Nalgene makes, excellent. WAY better than the standard issue 1QT.Bonus: My water doesn’t have that mystery flavor because of the water source.

Classic quality and nice color

The form factor is a joy to drink out of after 32oz Nalgene bottles. The mouth is a little smaller (in a good way) snd they’re a lot easier to handle with the light texture. Flatter for factor makes them easier to pack in a bag or wand pockets on a backpack without beating up as much internal space. I run a ~16L pack for like, everything and space matters without compromising too much on volume

Holds water as it should and fits in standard canteen pouches.One advantage of these to traditional round bottles is that they fit better in tighter side compartments on a backpack. Easier to get in than a round bottle and they sit deeper in the pocket so they stay put. This is why I bought these and they work perfectly for this.
