This is the cheapest battery for this model available on Amazon. It is good quality and lasts around 2 hours off charge (considering the price) an ideal replacement for a Inspiron 1545 laptop. Make sure you have the correct Official Dell charger or it won't charge (I had this problem and initially thought it was an issue with the battery)

So far it works well. I drained the battery to 2% as the instructions provide and then re-charged. So far all OK. Great value.

Arrived on time, well packed and undamaged. Does what it's supposed to, fully charged lasts about 4 hours.Update.Now had the battery for 3 months. Recently, having not used the laptop for 5 days, the battery had completely discharged. Plugged the charger in and for about 20 seconds it indicated that the battery was charging, after that it showed it was plugged in and charging but it wasn't, so totally useless.Originally gave 5 stars, reduced to 1 star for delivery and packaging.

Each fully charge last for approximate 2 hours+, compatable with Dell Inspiron 1545. A lot cheaper than original dell battery. Updated in May - only last for three months and my laptop now advises to change the battery again and seems like a fault economy and need to buy another one soon. i use my computer daily.
