Fits Brita 0B03/0B01 pitcher; reduces/filters chlorine, zinc, lead
The media could not be loaded. Each of these 6 compact water filters are individually wrapped, which I like because it keeps them clean until I am ready to use one.I use these filters in my Brita pitcher (Classic Model version, model number 0B01/0B03) - they fit perfect, as when I pour in cold tap water, the water comes out in a slow fashion, in a drip-drip-drip sort of action. No water ran down the side of the pitcher. To get started, I do the following:First, I submerge the water filter in a large glass filled with water for 15 minutesSecond, I insert the filter into the reservoir of the Brita pitcher.Lastly, I add cold tap water. There is an important discrepancy that I noted:According to the product box, these ".....filter performance tested by a third party....not certified by WQA....".According to product description page, the filters are "....Certified to NSF/ANSI Standards.....Certified to WQA to NSF/ANSI 42 and 372....".The water filters that I prefer to use are tested and certified as follows:-- NSF/ANSI standard No. 53 (reduction of lead, copper, mercury, cadmium, benzene, toluene , tetrachloroethylene)-- NSF/ANSI standard No. 42 (reduction of chlorine, taste & odor, zinc)--- NSF/ANSI 372 (ensures products contain no more than 0.25% lead)Overall, I prefer to use Brita filters because of all the things listed above that they reduce. The Aqua Optima water filters only filter out chlorine, zinc, lead, and hardness.

Fits my Brita
This filter is smaller than the original Brita so I was worried it wouldn't fit, but it fitted well! The water seemed to filter well, really fast. The water actually filters through faster than the original Brita filter. I haven't tested my water so I don't know how well it filters. However, I have to change it more often than my Brita filter.

Water tastes fine
These are a lot shorter than the oem’s but they seem to fit in the slot perfectly. It doesn’t click in but it does sit tight enough so water won’t leak through the filter chamber. Can’t say how long each filter will last before having to change it out but the flavor of the water is no different than the oem filter. I live in an area with a strong chlorine smell and taste and this filter does a good job of getting rid of that. The only issue I have is there are no instructions included inside the box or on the box itself that provides instructions on how to clean it before using it. I treated it like the other filters and let the first two batches of cold water filter through before actually drinking the third batch.

Only minimal reduction of impurities from tap water
I was not sure if this filters would fit in my older Classic Brita pitcher but fortunately they did.The Aqua Optima has a tight fit to the pitcher, so all unfiltered water must pass through the filter.Following the example of the Brita filters, I passed and discarded the first two loads of tap water.I checked my tap water quality with a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) water tester and it gave a reading of 1.58.After filtering my tap water with Aqua Optima, my water tester gave a reading of 1.35.The original brand filter, same as pitcher, gave a reading of 1.20.The closer to 0 (zero) the readings of TDS water tester, the more filtered the water from impurities.I checked the calibration of the same meter with zerowater, that gave a precise 0 (zero) reading.Note that I did not notice any improvement in taste using Aqua Optima but that can also depend on your areas tap water quality. Conclusion, the filter did clean my tap water but I only gained slightly over purity of tap water quality. Please let me know if you have any questions or if this review has been helpful.

Only for city water/ chlorine- tastes just like tap water entering filter pitcher.
This works in our Pur counter pitcher. It just pops in instead of twists. But besides that, we are in well water and this filter is useless. Even it being for chlorine only it should take the taste out with the coconut fibers and the water tastes exactly the same coming out of the tap and pitcher. These feel and seem cheap and way too much water comes out of the filter to think it’s actually filtering the water.

Fits like OEM. Most economical.
Though a much more economical option, this filter fits like it should and seems to be as good as OEM.At the current price of about $18, this 6-pack makes the most cost-effective replacement option available, that I am aware of.This filter does have different filter media configuration internally and so is a little shorter than the originals, which doesn't hurt a thing. It's top tapered portion makes the proper seal against the inside of the pitcher.

Fit right into my Brita
I took these right out of the package rinse them off and put it right into my brita. I could not tell any difference in the volume of water that flows through the filter, I did taste a slight difference in flavor but it was not bad it was just different. Merchant delivered what was advertised, I'm happy to know that there are other options if I need them.
