Why don't you indicate the gage of the string? I will buy from another company that does give that info.

The gauge (note spelling) is .74mm. (I'm reading from the actual package, but if you click on the image you should be able to see it there.)

Help me do the math here, one string for $8 and complete set of 6 strings for $10?

Simple answer -- SHIPPING COSTS. It costs virtually the same amount to ship one string as it does 6 -- or even 12 or 18 -- strings because Amazon REQUIRES a tracking number. That means items will cost a minimum of $3.37 PLUS the cost of the package and material even if it is going two miles. Cross country or to PR or GU it goes up to nearly $4.00 just for the postage. The simple answer is to shop locally and support actual brick and mortar stores before they ALL go out of business.
