It was very funny in an unexpected way, and I got instantly attached to the surprisingly sweet and caring Koro Sensei. Nothing much happened in the story so far, but the plot continued to thicken at a good pace. The book looks slightly used, a little bit dented and with a piece coming off on the side, but it was minor and in my eyes forgiveable despite usually being a perfectionist. But all in all, looking like it could be one of my favourite mangas. Definitely looking forward to more! It is a very good shonen but it is also funny at the same time. The actual age rating is 13+ but it isn’t as violent as it sounds considering the name of the manga is ‘Assasination Classroom’ since it isn’t really violent I wouldn’t think anyone 10 and over would be phased. I bought this for my 11 year old granddaughter as she said she wanted the series as she couldn’t find the anime to it. She says it’s very good and she said she is very happy to have it and be getting the entire series (most of it I have ordered her for Christmas) Would recommend!

I Love It! Unexpectedly funny with surprising characters and a cool setting.
Amazing! I love the octopus character displayed on the cover, "Koro Sensei", and the manga was very interesting to read. It was very funny in an unexpected way, and I got instantly attached to the surprisingly sweet and caring Koro Sensei. Awesome book
I bought this for my 12 year old daughter as part of a collection of 21 books. She was thrilled with it 😊 Recieved in good condtion and clear illustrations. Suitable for children aged 12+

a must for the manga fan
was not sure about this manga, when I checked it out, but on reading it has become the 1st one I look for to get the next book in the series for, funny and well written, bizarre as only the Japanese can dream up but works well for western audiences too.

Hilarious, conniving, and heartfelt.
Very good start to a series about students trying to assassinate their teacher... Who is an octopus... Who blew up the moon... Who's letting them kill him..? It's so bizarre that it is simply unforgettable and brilliant!
