Good set
RRP £50, as of 2018. And because the total is above £40 that includes delivery from games workshop. So watch those prices folks, no need to be gouged by some of the sellers on amazon. As far as "deals" go from gamesworkshop even at £50 it's probably reasonably priced so anything below that is a good bargain in my eyes.Nice mixture of 11 boyz, 5 nobs (short for noble for orks), 1 painboy and 1 deffdread. Oh and the ammo runt (little guy pulling a box of ammo).Fair warning the deff dread has a lot of parts and some of them might be easily cut through on the sprue so be careful with that. Fortunately because this is the orks any defects in the construction process can usually be written off as typical ork engineering, generally quite ramshackle. Reading some of the numbers for the construction requires a bit of detective work, some numbers are hidden beneath the points on the sprue.Deff dread comes with a good variety of weapons to choose from, Skorcha, 2 big shootas, rokkit launcha and/or 2 extra close combat weapons on top the the standard combat weapons it comes with as standard. Also comes with a different face, kinda, different feet and a few extra combat weapons which is great for kitbashing because the giant saw blades look pretty good on anything in 40k honestly.(Deff dread isn't very competitive in the rules atm, this being before the ork codex for 8th edition has come out so you might want to drop it's points cost in friendly games or give it a boost to the wound/toughness stats. Games workshop are notorious for neglecting orks, in particular their walkers. Yes even in comparison to other factions walkers it's horrendous apart from the ability to reroll charge distance)It does look pretty cool though. Love my deff dreads. The boyz come with a variety of weapons from the shoota to the slugga/choppa. The rules currently state you can mix and match either weapon set as you wish but in general it's best to specialise if you want to see results I think. And a big shoota/rokkit launcha as options. The nobz have a huge variety of weapons, from the combi/rokkit/shoota to the combi-skorcha/shoota to the power claws, power stabbas, big choppas or regular choppas oh and the sluggas (pistols). Probably one of the better models in the set and really good for using their extra parts for other nobz to lead the other ork units in your army. The painboy comes as finecast, in other words totally set as per the picture on the box, no customisation in parts. But you wouldn't really want to customise him unless you knew what you were doing anyways. Looks suitably painful to be operated by.Pro tip glue the head on last, even with the deff dread often with games workshop models if you end up wanting to pose their weapon across the chest their head can get in the way. Also with the ork infantry they tend to slouch which means you need to tilt their torso a little backwards in order for them to look right otherwise they end up staring at the ground. Try making one and you'll see what I mean.If you do end up with a super slouchy or forward leaning ork (or any model really) you can try gluing on a penny to the bottom of the base to help stabilise them.

Fantastic Value
Fantastic Value. These are the same miniatures you can buy in separate kits from Games Workshop, but at a much lower price. If you want a boatload of figures, this is a great option. The models themselves are of the usual GW standard: there are some mold lines / flash, but nothing too bad. The level of detail is good, but not as good as you would get with e.g. resin casts.

Ere we go boyz!
GW's Start Collecting sets are the best value in the game for many of the pieces. I wish they had more, similar packages like this. GW feels overpriced normally, but their models are high quality, and look great on the table. Now we just need the new Ork Codex for the green tide!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaghh!!

No tengo mucho que decir, es un regalo bajo demanda. Quien lo pidió lleva años pintando figuritas. Está contento

It's a great value for starting a collection, be it 40k or for Killteam. If you're going Goffs with the faction choice, make life easy on yourself and get paint markers. Call it lazy if you will, but I call it effective, and the results are great.
