I like my jackets just a little bit looser that's why I get an extra large this fits like a large which means for me to get an extra large I need to get a 2X the size difference is are definitely smaller by an entire size based on my experience s other than that this jacket is pretty dang good nice material but I haven't been able to wear

Great sweatshirt. But does shrink quite a bit. Your almost safer to get a size large to compensate for shrinkage.
