My husband uses this regularly. It holds him and he is 260 pounds. We keep it in the corner of our kitchen and decorate it with some pictures and a flame free candle. It's easily accessible by leaving it out, but you can fold it up and store it if you would rather. It's a really nice step ladder, nice looking and cleans easily.

it's very sturdy and easy to climb and stand on. I am keeping it for those reasons, but it is slightly taller than described. because of this extra height, it does not fit under the end of my countertop as I had planned. I specifically ordered this one because of the height, even though it was a little more expensive than similar items.

This is by far the best stool I have owned but I really got it for my mom she works on her knees all day and this allows her to sit in front of the customer instead of kneeling.... thanks this is saving my mom's knees

Excellent quality, design and construction. The wood-grain aluminium is very presentable and fits with our wooden floor. Folds up beautifully to store behind the door when not in use. Sturdy for reaching high shelves. Comfortable for sitting working at the bench. Couldn't ask for better. We are very pleased that we made this choice.

BUY THIS LADDER! I live in a house with vaulted ceilings. I am a 72-year-old female and only 5' tall. I cannot even get my linens on the upper shelves of my linen closet or the books on the top shelves of my bookcases with a regular step-ladder. I have a normal two-step step-ladder with a tray top from a hardware store that folds. It isn't overly massive but I still bang into things and it still isn't tall enough for me to reach many of the places I need to reach on a regular daily basis. I read many reviews and although some people claimed these wonderfully designed folding 5-step ladders weren't sturdy enough. I beg to differ. My large and tall handyman and myself are in love with this ladder with it's tiny lightweight profile and handy to carry and store features. The top handle on this has been important for me to feel safe when on the top steps. I have had no need for any rails to help me get up and down as some of these feature. Someone very smart designed this brilliantly and I am so grateful to them. I have a heavy fiberglass regular ladder in the garage I used to drag all around my historic home with 14' ceilings. Thank God, I don't have to do that anymore. It stores in this tiny space between the end of the upper closet shelf and the wall in my bedroom clothes closet out of sight and out of the way but so easy to access, to carry around, and manage all over the house as needed without hitting furniture and walls. I absolutely love this thing.

It gets the job done, but it definitely doesn’t look like real wood (since it isn’t!). So far though it works well and is sturdy for the price point! I would buy it again.

Steps overlap each other so that you have to climb it like a ladder. Was hoping for more of a stair climbing experience. Top marks for low weight. Considering the ladder climbing configuration, I'd reccommend the ones with the hand rail attached. Particularly for those with balance issues.

This is a really nice little steps, its easy both to unfold and to fold away again, and extremely sturdy in use. When folded its very slim, and slips under things and behind things without fuss. Well worth it.
