it works had to use top off old solenoid but the bike is running

This starter relay was slightly different from mfg. oem part, the plug coming off of the battery didn't quite snap all the way into place, had to file some of the plastic in order to get it to sit in completely. I am still having starting issues that take me back to this starter solenoid. Bike wont start, unless the fuse is held down tight, its like it isn't making a good contact. I've ordered the Yamaha OEM starter solenoid. This will work for a quick fix to get you on the road but would recommend going with the original equipment manufactured part.

Works like it should. Tried another one from a different seller and it failed within an hour of riding, it stuck on and took out my starter. This one has been on my four wheeler long enough that I trust it.

Estimate about 20-30 starts in just over a year of using this replacement starter solenoid. Been having electrical/display issues for a bit then all of a sudden no power. Troubleshooting led to this solenoid with one of the fuses melted into the plastic housing...but hadn't popped! Have many of problems stated in other reviews including loose connector and more.Enjoyed it while it worked and glad it didn't burn my bike up!Off to look for a well reviewed, OEM part.

Product had loose pins in it that would randomly cause a loss of spark and cause the motor to slowly shut down. Took me a bit to figure out that this replacement relay was the problem.
