TIME-SERTM12x1.5x9.2mm Insert Qty 10 p/n 12151

Used this to repair BMW MINI R52 subframe mounting bolt. Over-tightened 10 years ago when attaching a brace.Back then a shop had it repaired it with a Recoil, but it came off every time the subframe had to be dropped.Not just an annoyance, it was also damaging the thread.I bought several different sources for the coil, all failed within 1-2 times of undoing the bolt.Now, I tried this time-sert. This uses the same size thread as Recoil of the same size, I just bought the inserts and made my own insertion tool (just a bolt, with an insert locked in place to push a new one in.)It slid right in. And after several bolt removal, it's as tight as it can be with no signs of looseness.I will forever be using timeserts from now on!!!!In a hindsight it seems to fit great but next time using it I may consider using Locktite Reds, to make it even more secure and maybe compensate for damages in the original thread.Thanks for the great product!
