PMERND123 Anodised Aluminium Round Cake Pan 12 x 3-Inch Deep Silver

Really good quality cake tin, produces an even bake although you do need to watch the timing on the cook as the pan seems to contain heat more so than other brands and cook the cake batter slightly faster than normal. After reading some of the reviews I lined the sides and bottom of the tin to ensure the cake turned out of the pan with ease. Very pleased with the depth and the fact it is not loose-bottomed as I’ve had problems with batter seeping out of the bottom of cake tins in the past.

Finally got round to using them.Lovely heavy gauge so cakes cook gently and no burning on the bottom/sides. But nothing like as non-stick as other aluminium tins I own and I had expected - grease well!!

I ordered two of these pans (but may get a third) to make layer cakes, as well as other things like upside-cakes, cheesecakes, and things that if I was to use a springform may accidentally leak.So far they have been great, I love using them. I love the fact that the sides are perfectly straight, great if you want that nice clean finish on your layer cakes (British sandwich tins seem to always slope at the edges which annoys me!).Cleaning them is fairly easy, however if you only line the base and grease the sides, you may find that some of your cake will stick (use a offset spatula facing outwards and run it along the edge). However, I didn't downvote this below 5 because at the end of the day you can soak them for 5-10 minutes and the cake scraps came off easily.I'm looking forward to trying out some other bakes with these, and maybe add some different sizes to my collection.I recommend using a cake spray in combination with these (I use the Sonnoveld Gold Wax, amazing stuff) as it makes preparing the cake pans soooo much easier.

This cake pan was the perfect discovery for me. The anodised aluminium is an excellent quality alternative to potentially unhealthy non-stick coatings and the quality is beautiful. I was so pleased to find a pan of this size, which fits perfectly into my air fryer for baking and for cooking foods that need to be inside a pan rather than directly in the air fryer. It was exactly what I was looking for but didn’t think I would find.

I absolutely love these cake pans. They’re fantastic. I had previously been using very very expensive sandwich tins ( not sure I can name them) and these are far superior. Cakes come out no problem and they cook evenly. I would recommend to anyone. Price very reasonable too.
