The cutie sailor guardian with an IQ of 300~
First impressions: She's so beautiful!!! She's a bit stiff out of package, and I did notice a paint chip on the bangs with visor headpiece, but other than that, simply stunned with the paint job; beautiful shades of blue and matte. I was also impressed with the variety of hands she has (comparing this to my collection so far of Moon, Mars, and Saturn). Easy to pose once you gently work the joints a bit. Also a word of caution since I have heard horror stories of Mercury's neck snapping- it is more difficult to change her faceplates so don't try to pull from underneath the chin and up (I first did that with the others, and probably isn't good, so I always try to pull from behind the ears). It gets easier once you are able to change faces.I'll definitely come back and add to this review in a few months when I've had more time to pose her and all that!EDIT 5/15/15 : I've sadly had to change my star rating because of the extreme difficulty changing her left hand, which led to one of her hands being stuck (not even knowing it became stuck at the time) and when I tried to pull it off, the entire joint popped out. Long story short, the peg broke off connecting the ball joint to the arm and so now I'm ordering a new figure. And with the new figure coming soon, I know what to look for out of box (like difficult interchanging hands) so I can sand down the pegs just a tad to make it easier. From like the month I've had her though, there isn't anything else wrong with her. I still highly recommend her!!

Superb Figure
Sadly I received a bad figure.HER QUALITY WAS NOTHING LIKE IN THE PHOTOS.I was really hoping I'd not fall prey to the bad reviews but here's what's going on;1. Arms kept falling off. Made it near impossible to pose the arms.2. The coloration of the figure was way off. The boots were a different Blue than the skirt and they should be the same color. The ankles were a different Blue than the boots.3. The joints were made very cheaply.4. The head cannot bend backward because of the hair.I REALLY don't want to give up as I Love these characters. I'll see if I can exchange and take another chance and hope for a quality figure. Hopefully Moon & Jupiter that are arriving tomorrow won't be anything like Mercury and they'll restore my faith.02/28/2015 UPDATEFantastic figure. The quality is just as expected - top notch. The figure is beautiful and poses excellently. The one concern I had before I bought the Scout figures was"Will the skirt interfere with poses?!"It doesn't! Since the legs pull down slightly from the socket it makes poses where the legs bend up in front of the figure possible and realistic looking.** To Ensure You Get A Legitimate Figure **1. Look for the product listing that states "SOLD AND FULFILLED BY AMAZON"2. When you get your figure, make sure the box has the three stickers/logos on the front bottom of the box (TOEI, BANDAI & TAMASHII)

A great but not quite perfect Sailor Scout
Ami is one of my personal favorites of the Sailor Scouts. I generally love the look of her. Just the colors work etc. I am happy to finally pick up a figure of her.Overall Ami's sculpt is great. Just with a few minor disappointments in comparison to the later more refined figures in the line. Her Articulation is ok, but on the lower end of the scale for an SH Figuarts. Elbows have single jointing. Arms have very little rotation which makes posing limited. Similarly the jointing on the legs just doesn't feel as good as some of the later ones. The paint is sharp and decent although the pearl white on the torso feels a little thin. The accessories are nice a little computer book open and closed, three extra faces a set of bangs with her visor goggles and a dozen hands.Overall she is a nice figure and a must have to complete your Sailor Scouts. There is a newer version of her coming out soon Super Sailor Mercury that might have the newer style improved articulation. But this one is good enough for your first gen Scouts.

Very nice figure!
After purchasing a Bootleg by mistake on Ebay, I did my research and came to Amazon. My package was delivered quickly and came in good condition. First thing I noticed was the quality. Such a big difference (see the image below) compared to the Bootleg Figure. I can't see any noticeable paint defects on the one I received, a little white has bled onto the skirt from the top - but it's on the side and not as noticeable. Personally, I feel like the hair could be a bit more textured like the other Scouts that have come out since. I do think the white on the top of her boots could be a bit more .... Popping? In comparison with the Bootleg, I would splurge the extra cost. The stand was a main issue for me, as it hardly helped the posing of the figurine - more like add to the instability. The quality was poor and the amount of paint defects were too noticeable.Overall very happy with this one and the professional handling/shipping by the supplier.

Her arm accidently came off, but it was a easy fix. shown in pictures.
So I got my Sailor Mercury figure in the mail today, and it had the official sliver sticker on it which informed me that it was not a bootleg. Everything about her was completely perfect. The details were all perfect, and she looked like the real thing from the anime series! Save for one little thing. It turns out that her arms are detachable, which gave me an minor heart attack when one of her arms accidentally popped off! one of her sleeves even came off too during the progress... I took pictures of it when it happened too. Thankfully, I was able to push the sleeves back on, and attach the arm back on. That's the downside of an action figure that has detachable parts, I guess. Still, I get the feeling that the figurart's arms shouldn't had easily came off, huh? She's on a shelf now with my other figuarts.
