Been using this thing for a good few years now, never done me wrong! I've used both SD cards and Micro SD cards with an adapter, works great, good speeds! The only issue is that the protective caps wear down and won't fit if you use it too much, but as long as you keep it in a safe place, that shouldn't be an issue! Never got hot for me, easy to use, and good value for the money! I recommend.

This is a handy little device at a nice price. I got it because I just got a Samsung Galaxy S24+ phone and the newer Samsungs no longer have an SD expansion option. I have data on a microSD card from my previous phone that I didn't want to lose. I opened this reader, inserted the SD card into it, and inserted the USB-C end into my new phone. I opened My Files and was able to see and manipulate the files on the card. I transferred my photos & documents to my new phone very easily. The only thing I don't like about this card reader is that the caps that cover the ends (USC-C & USB) are not textured and are a bit difficult to grasp and remove. Other than that minor issue, I'm very happy with this purchase.

It works flawlessly. ✓ Very speedy and responsive; ✓ Doesn't corrupt my data; ✓ Doesn't malorganize files like that big brand (starts with san) does in an attempt to force you to use their software. Their adapter disorganized 2 years worth of files for me and now they're a bloody mess😡. This one maintains chronological order, as it SHOULD 🙂 ✓ VERY light weight means less stress on your C port (which has fragile pins); ✓ Fits properly into C port and stays secure. Those are the most important factors. If I could change something it would be the caps. I wish it had someone like a flip cap rather than removable as I KNOW I will lose them before this review posts. The fact of the matter, though, is that the manufacturer can only do so much because this hangs from the C port of your phone and HAS to be as LIGHT WEIGHT as possible. I used to customize devices for people and the main reason why phones would fail is the unplugging and replugging of charging cords into the fragile C port. Therefore the removable caps ensure the light weight but I'll still lose them for certain. Overall it's a 10 in my book. 🔟

I use these a lot when checking my Trail Cameras. Very compact, well built, and reliable. I keep them in my pouchs along with my SD card cases. I just plug it into my phone, Tablet, or laptop. I have used a variety of card rands with no issues. Read write speeds are pretty good. I also keep one in the glovebox of my vehicle. Can't beat them!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this product is so convenient. I’ve been transferring photos over WiFi for a while and it takes forever - this SD card reader has been a game changer. I can plug this into my iPhone, iPad Pro, iPad Mini, or Macbook and and transfer photos 10x faster. It’s super small so it doesn’t take up a bunch of room in my camera bag. I can go on a small shoot and edit pictures on my phone while on-the-go. I went hiking recently and saw a cute couple ahead of me that I took a picture of and was able to pull this out of my bag and edit the photo to surprise them with in a matter of minutes. Really great product and suuuuper cheap. Highly recommend.

Ich nutze den Kartenleser am Laptop und auch am Smartphone, um schnell Daten zu übertragen. Durch den USB-A und USB-C Anschluss ist man flexibel und braucht keinen Adapter. Die Übertragung geht zügig und die Karten werden direkt erkannt. Im Alltag funktioniert das zuverlässig ohne Probleme. Das Gerät ist klein und lässt sich gut mitnehmen, gerade unterwegs ist das praktisch. Für mich eine einfache und funktionale Lösung.
