As a commercial electrician, I first learned to use these with the company I work for. We do commercial lighting installs for large warehouses where the voltage can run anywhere from 120 volts up to as high as 480 volts. These allow us to save a LOT of time when installing a couple thousand lights at a time!I purchased this kit specifically for a house I’m helping to renovate. I find at times that these are far more effective when splicing wires, to give coworkers a temporary line to run there tools while I’m working on a separate circuit that I have to shutdown to work on. This allows them to keep working. Then I can disconnect the line easily as opposed to cutting or removing a wire nut that is quite destructive to the wire when splicing.From experience with these I must say these are a great addition to any electrical tool kit!

I bought them for low voltage work but I would use them instead of wire nuts for line voltage connections too. They cost more but are very convenient.I needed to make connections between different sizes of wire (18AWG and 23AWG). I find wire nuts hard to use for that and I hate crimping. These WAGOs worked very well. They are compact and it is easy to make changes.Be careful - they can pinch finger as they snap shut. Once set up I think it is best to wrap electrician's tape around them to keep them closed.

Getting "everything" crammed back into the box after the stripping and joining and pulling and pushing and jamming with wirenuts has always been a pain. So I had to wire two 3-way switches into a 2-gang box on the 1st and 2nd floor for stairway lights (top and bottom). The Hot (power) for both sets of 3-ways on the 2nd floor came from attic, the feeds for the lights on the 1st floor ceiling came from below, the 2nd floor ceiling came from above (attic), and the tailend 3-ways were located on the 1st floor below. Piece of cake, right? Well.....it actually was. "Before" Waygo, you had to leave enough extra wire to actually get the wirenuts on - that meant more stuff in the box. With the Waygos, I don't need to - I cut, strip, shove them in, flip the lever down. Whoa. Holy moly, I think I've just experienced a pivotal moment in my wiring history.....literally.

Good quality and makes pig-tailing wires, especially low gauge (thick) wires, much easier and more reliable than twisting and using wire nuts. Also saves a lot of room in the elec box.

Worked great and easy to use

These things are an amazing invention. Making wiring SO much quicker.The other big value, is that you can visually SEE if you have properly connected, which is something you can NOT do with a wire nut. Once you twist that nut, you have no idea what really happened. With these wago’s, you can easily SEE if you have the wire fully inserted into the connector.The only downside, and it can be a big downside, is that if you are connecting 3 or 4 wires, they are more bulky than using wire-nuts. In some applications, there is simply not enough room in the wiring box to use these. But, for EVERY OTHER setting, I choose to use these.

I wish I had known about Wagos sooner. They are a game-changer when it comes to connecting wires, especially in older homes where the old wires and new fixture/outlet wires don't mesh well together in a typical nut. Wagos don't care. They make a solid connection, regardless of wire type. Throw those rat-tail nuts away and use these everywhere.

The WAGO devices are superb in every aspect. Saves a ton of time getting electrical connections in place reliably. Getting rid of all my other commercial connectors!

Wery safe connectors to be used in electrical boxes but the most benefit is when installing a light fixture that has stranded vires and they need to be connected to the rigid ones. It is dificult to make a good and secure connection between those tipes of wire with the regular wire nuts. These conectors with the lever action make the connection easy and above all safe.
