Have to disagree with previous reviewer. I tried one and its pretty good. Works even better if you double it up and one strip butts against another on the opposing face.Secret with these things is to ensure surface is clean and grease-free. Use fine sandpaper to roughen up the paint and rub down with surgical spirit.I pushed door closed nice and firmly and left for around an hour. No issues with lack of "stickiness", and if it does come loose, try a bit of super / gorilla glue - works wonders on plastic / silicone !Best thing about this is that it's very flexible and thus fills variable gaps (no doors are completely "square") from 1mm to 7mm - or, if doubled up, 2mm to 14mm !Just bought 2 more for my external doors.Don't know where they get the 15 years from - it clearly states "4 year warranty" on the pack. But, for £10, what do you want ?Don't know why I've written all this, bit it is Sunday, and I guess I'm REALLY bored !!!

I cannot comment on the longevity of the product. That would have to wait for a couple of years at least. The product fitted easily. Because of the construction of the product it should fit a number of different situations. It is essentially a silicone tube. It can be compressed more or less according to the gap. The range is probably from about 2mm to 4mm compression i.e. that is the gap it could fill. It is easy to apply.

Love this excluder. It works beautifully, completely no draught getting through and, even though instructions state the hinge side, I've used this on the opening side as well and it's closed a 6mms gap. It is very sticky but does need a little help on painted surfaces with a light run over with sandpaper. One review stated they experienced problems separating the two strips: the initial pull needs to be a good one but, once it's started, it travels down with little effort. Definitely recommend this above everything else I've tried.

Really good adhesion, compresses well so fills different sized gaps between door and frame, very efficient.

This is a couple of millimetre thicker than the norm and just what I required so happy on that front. The negative is the sticky back is not that sticky , handy when and if you need to reposition but not so good if it just falls off. The other negative is its translucent so day light or street light shines through which gives the appearance that there is no draught sealer in place, still does the job so three stars.

Nothing really good about this product it's not 8mms as stated arrives fairly squashed and distorted . Would be ok if you only want to seal a small gap about 2mms to 4mm.
