This adapter fits Skull Bucket aluminum full brim hard hats. The mesh face shield that fits this adapter is the Pyramex S1060 wire mesh. Pyramex S1060 Wire Mesh Face Shield, Steel Mesh VisorThe adapter is held on by a groove that fits the hat brim, and a rubber band that is tied to the adapter. It's a good tight fit. The adapter lets you swing the shield up out of the way. This adapter is all plastic.

Broke after 3 days of use
I used it 3 different days and when I took it off today I noticed that it had broken on one side near the hinge.

Great accessory for my hard hat to attach a face shield
Just as described! Fit perfectly on my hardhat and works well with ERB- Replacement Face Shield, 8"x 15.5"x .040, Clear Polycarb, Model 15151.It was easy to install and it is adjustable so it doesnt swing easily.
