Its fun. Quality is not there to wear more then a dress up outing. I used on a halloween fall night. Beard is not attached to hat you have to kind of tie it on, fibers will get in your mouth the entire time you wear it.

It's the fiercest beard that I've ever owned. There were struggles and lengthy yarn battles as I tried to figure out how the heck to get the thing wrapped around my face. Once tamed, it looked great! Dropping stars because holy drunken Odin, it was very musty, the worst, seriously. For those with allergies, you're probably going to experience death by beard.

I bought this for my husband as a gift. He loves it!! He said the beard is warm to help keep the face warm. The fact that the beard part is adjustable is also helpful.

I purchased this to conduct a concert that had a piece centered around barbarians/vikings. The hat is soft yard and very warm. It fit my head easily (I wear a 7 1/8 hat). The beard fell correctly on my face upon first wearing, and knowing the tendency of yarn to stretch, I laid it flat immediately upon taking it off. The second time I put it on, the mustache would no longer sit above my lip, but instead drooped below my mouth, and no amount of adjusting would make it stay. It's a lovely hat, but the beard simply weighs too much for the small yarn loops that bear its weight.

I bought this for my cousin's son, who was jealous the previous Christmas when his two brothers each got one and he didn't (he was 7, so it would have been way too large for him anyway). the three of them sit around in their "old man beards" and go on "old man rants." it's hilarious. the oldest has a beard hat that allows you to adjust where the beard attaches to the hat, so you can be sure the mustache and beard sit in the right spot on your face; this beard hat does not do that, which is why I give it four stars instead of five. even among adults, an adjustable beard would be useful.

Bought this for my brother for Christmas. Tried it on just for fun.It’s a pretty awesome novelty gift. There’s two strands with button holes and two buttons on the inside of the hat to connect them (so you can wear with or without the beard).It docked it a star cuz beard isn’t quite a pristine as the photo. It does need a little reworking when you get it, but it is a lot of fun, and for this kind of gift made pretty decent.

The package arrived in record time. However, upon opening the package the beard appeared to be somewhat tangled but I was able to get it fixed. The hat also had a piece of yarn that seemed to be unraveling and was able to tie that in place but the biggest concern was the fact that it was missing two buttons that the beard clips onto. I now have to sew two buttons in it so that the beard will hang properly in place.

This is a pretty cool idea that could be better. You can clearly see my beard has a purple hue to it., and it doesn’t come with instructions on how to attach(There is 2 buttons inside the hat that you attach 2 small braided strings to tht you loop through a small loop on the beard)I have a big head and it fits fine but I do not lik that it has a purple hue. Definitely not as advertised for colour. No one has a burple hue grey beard

Makes an awesome gift. I needed a fun stocking stuffer for my husband.. I came across this and thought it was perfect.. he’s always bragging about his Viking ancestors. So how perfect now he can pretend to be a Viking and stay warm in the winter. We laughed for hours it’s really awesome. Well made, I don’t know about the complaints about it looking cheap, the beard is pretty full and nice. It’s so much fun. I recommend this.

Bought for my daughter who works as photographer out on mountain in Whistler. She said it was a bit tight and also said if she hadn't straightened her hair, she'd never get it on her head. (she has super curly hair) It's still a pretty cool hat though!
