I have thick hair and they hold my hair back nicely. My only problem is the threads pull out easily on them.

And my cats love them too. Made the mistake of leaving the crinkly bag on the counter- they immediately stole the black one and red one. They have the nicest cat toys they could possibly have- but no....they want these hair bands and the box they came in. I love the ones they left me- very gentle on my hair but they hold it back without sliding. unless they are being launched across the room by tiny black paws. Will buy again (maybe 2 sets, one for them)

So helpful it does not pool my thick hair

I purchased these cute hair bands because my female Yorkshire terrier was pregnant, and about to give birth any day. The idea behind buying these colored hair bands was to give each puppy a different colored band (to wear as a collar) that would correspond with each puppies order of birth. Well, the blessed event occurred but the hair bands were way too big. Good thing our female only had 2 pups and they both had different markings so we could easily tell them apart. Bottom line, these were way too large for our newborn Yorkie pups, but they might work fine for larger pups weighing over a pound at birth. Warning; this method for marking pups is probably only useful for breeders who want to keep track of each pups order of birth, weight, wellness checkups, and vaccinations before selling the pups. Bands should be removed when they become the slightest bit tight and as soon as the new owner takes possession of the pup(s).

Once you use it , the elasticity is lost . It stretches out and never returns lol . Still somewhat usable, but if you want a tight ponytail I wouldn’t recommend these.
