LILLIPUTA12 12.5" 4K Monitor 3840 x 2160 with HDMI, Displayport and SDI connectivity with V-Mount Battery Plate

One of the smallest true 4K monitors available. Color and contrast are very good and close to reference. Runs off AC adapter or Sony L size batteries with a built in battery plate. Or attach a V-mount or Gold mount plate to use instead. It has built in quad split view if you use 4 HDMI inputs. The SDI input can be switched in place of one of the 4 quad screens. 4K is only available thru the HDMI cable, SDI is HD 3G only and does not support 6 or 12G SDI. Only complaint is that I wish it had built in LUTs for log shooting like the smaller Lilliput A8s monitor, but for the price a great and light choice.

The media could not be loaded. The specs for this monitor make in an appealing choice for a variety of situations.However, it will shut down and power back up at random times when the strength of the video signal depletes in any way. This is especially the case when utilizing wireless video transmitters. I was even sent a replacement power supply from Lilliput but this has not fixed the issue.This monitor is used daily and the fear of it shutting off at key moments is a major source of stress.When it works properly the monitor is great. Plenty of bells and whistles and options galore. But overall reliability is questionable due to this unfixable flaw.

This is a follow-up to my initial review when I first bought this prosumer AC/DC quad monitor. I use it with 3 Sony AX700 camcorders and 1 ZV1. But when I start to record, each HDMI input on the Lilliput A-12 blacks out. I had to look up my camera user guide to find the secret setting for HDMI External Output so each camera could still be live on the Lilliput while recording. And I can view clip replays on the Lilliput after recordings. The PROBLEM IS that now the video on each of my camera LCDs goes BLACK DURING recording! I thought the Lilliput A-12 would let me direct 4 live cameras from one position. But a crew of camera operators would not be able to see what they are recording if I monitor them. Of course, I could just trust them to shoot what I need...??? Or I could rent pro cameras and monitors, or clone myself. The Liiliput A-12 is adequate for stationary multicam shoots since I pan and crop later when editing. That's OK for me, but maybe not for live event shoots.

I have discovered that not all monitors are able to display the signal coming out of my video cameras. Specifically I have a Canon C300 mkii, URSA Mini Pro 4.6k G2 and Sony FS7 Mkii. I bought this monitor and got instant gratification. With an SDI and 4 HDMI inputs, along with the ability to quadview other cameras on HDMI this is a game changer tool. I use a adapter for the battery that hooks to the DTAP on my camera so cabling is secure. High recommend this.

Many of the features of Lilliput monitors don't actually work. There are menu items to turn them off and on but they don't actually do anything. Contacting support only gets you an email saying they *MIGHT* fix it in a future firmware update, but they NEVER put out firmware updates. You can check their website to verify this. I would avoid buying any products from Lilliput.

Very happy with this investment. Love having both SDI and HDMI input/output. I DO very strongly wish they added audio INPUTS, and not just a headphone out. But I understand this wasn’t made to be an external recorder. But it would be cool to see clever engineering so that an audio input feed could be fed back to the camera somehow.But if you’re just looking for a large and actual 4K monitor that is great for referencing and pulling accurate focus, this is it.

It's surprisingly lightweight and gives a very nice image, but I find 2 problems with it. The monitor cuts off the upper 3% of a camera's feed - which means it's not accurately rendering what's being recorded - and it lacks a zoom function which would would be very helpful in checking focus.

前から気になっていたメーカーでしたが、大満足の画質です。4Kがフル画素で見れるのはありがたい、しかも12.5インチは普段5とか7インチでモニターしたのと比べると格段に大きい。メニューがちょっと貧弱で設定とかしにくいですが慣れればなんとかって感じです。1kg弱なんで、カメラに載せるのは重く大き過ぎる気がします。マルチビューも5インチが4個ならぶ感覚です。クライアントは微妙ですが、ディレクターならOKなサイズだと思います。マルチカム撮影やイベントではあると便利かも。1モニターの方が調整もしやすいですし。Newmowa NP-F550互換バッテリーを使用したら40分弱電源持ちました。
