After each bowl has been cut, it undergoes a drying process for several weeks to prevent cracking and warping. Finished with Three BEEautiful Bees All Natural Wood Polish. Handwash with water and a small amount of mild soap and hand dry. To preserve for generations, occasionally re-finish with jojoba oil.
