This backpack has a huge central compartment that should be sufficiently roomy to hold most, if not all, sizes of ski boots, although the largest of sizes may adversely eat into the space at the top that is reserved for the helmet. The division between helmet and boots is just a piece of thin, water resistant fabric, so there won’t be any protection between the two if the maximum space is utilised. Curiously, in addition to the lack of padding between boot an helmet compartments, the backpack only has padding on the base, back (where it is worn against your own back) and sides. The front (other side to your back) and the top are just thin fabric without padding, it’s fine for my needs, but I would have expected a bit more care for your helmet as it is, ultimately, protecting your head. The straps have been included for padding and are comfortable to wear as a result. Insulating material has been stitched into the base and the back, which should prove useful.All zips run smoothly and are nylon with a close fitting top that should prevent most water ingress. There are large finger pulls so opening and closing the pack whilst wearing gloves is achievable and actually fairly easy. All seams are well matched, stitched and finished.It is a well made backpack with lots of space for boots and a helmet and there is also a large pouch pocket that will hold other essentials and a document pocket with the same good quality zips and finger pulls. I am surprised that the padding isn’t more fulsome, particularly having some between the boot and helmet compartment, so you may wish to add your own padding for peace of mind.

This is a good solid , no nonsense, durable and reliable 50l backpack ideal for snow sports equipment, snowboarding, skiing equipment with plenty of room for boots, helmet, goggles and other sporting accessories.It would also be a really useful boot bag and travel bag for other outdoors activities such as cycling , skateboarding, Skating, hiking and camping.For the price of £40 for such a large and rugged backpack i think its good value and would come in extremely handy for years to come, build quality seems very good, it's very spacious and the straps are good quality.The pack is weather resistant too , waterproof so it can withstand rain and snow , its a backpack that is hard wearing and made for the outdoors, it's not the most stylish backpack, it's pretty plain looking but the materials are rugged and robust , it's a very practical and versatile bag.For the price it's a really good waterproof backpack ideal for a variety of outdoors activities.It's like a tardis, you can cram a lot into this pack , I'm sure it will serve me well for years.

This appears to be a high quality water repellent ski bag. It's classed as a boot backpack due to the large opening/section to put snow boots in. However, we will be using as a family backpack in Lapland next week. It has one main compartment, with a slim additional one in the main section, plus side pockets for drinks, very comfortable to wear and extremely lightweight. If it turns out to be waterproof/snowproof it will be a lifesaver in the Artic Circle!

I got this for my husband to keep his equipment dry.So far he seems to like it.It is a bit weird not to use it for snow boots but it fits a lot of other things instead.Decent bag for a decent price

The bag is good qualityperfect for my son for snowboarding.It is a bit of a weird shape just like all the other boot bags.Tonnes of room for boots in the back, helmet, hat, gloves, snood in the top and and just enough room for trousers and a jumper in the front section.
