Its made in China for a Sheffield company
I own an expensive Nakiri knife but I like this one better, its light, definitely not for chopping but is great for finely slicing cabbage and lettuce, but I use it for most things and the more skilled I get with it the more I shall use it, this and a pairing knife is all I need for food preparation, its a very thin blade and I'm keeping it sharp on a long leather strop with a green honing compound, drawing the knife back on the strop five times each side every few uses, the polished steel means if you cut through a potatoe the two halves stick to the blade like you wouldn't believe but I use this feature to draw the knife across the top of a bowl and drop the potatoes in, overall this knife functions far better than it looks, I intend to buy another one for my caravan because I know I shall miss it,

An every day knife that is not to be sniffed at
It is so hard to find a nakiri knife in many of the specialist homeware shops so it was good to see such a variety on Amazon. Previously I had purchased a nakiri knife manufactured by a sister company of Sabatier which after only a few uses started to rust??? I have owned many sabatier knives with no issues but clearly the quality of some of their sister companies are not the same.So having seem many good reviews for this knife I took a punt and it paid off. Nice ergonomic handle, a good solid sharp blade that makes chopping so easy and washes and dries really well. I would not say it is the sharpest knife I own but for what is markets as which is an every day knife it is more than suitable. Superb price point and I would recommend this brand for someone who is looking for a decent chopper. It is a generously sized knife but easy to control and not too scary to use even for a small person like me. It would be nice to see these larger knives come with a sheath or protector as it is not something that can fit in my knife block....although Mercier do make some decent ones and you can cut them to size to fit your knife.

Great value
For the money this knife is amazing value. Really keeps an edge, comfortable handle and looks good. Throughly recommended

Brilliant knife
Bought more expensive one but returned as it wasn’t very sharp. This wee knife is excellent and slices tomatoes as thin as you like. Would definitely recommend and would definitely buy again.

Great value, super sharp knife.
I was looking for a filleting knife to take on holiday as I planned some fishing. I was surprised at how good the reviews were for this knife given its low price but having returned from my holiday I can say the reviews are spot on. The knife is sharp, (hair shaving sharp) and it made short work of filleting the mackerel we caught. The knife has a full tang, meaning the metal of the blade continues along the length of the handle. Other low cost knives have the tang stop short in the handle. The plastic handle itself is nicely finished and comfortable in the hand. I've not had it long enough to see how long it hold its edge or how easy it is to sharpen but it all looks good so far. I have been so impressed with this knife I've ordered more knives in the range to replace some old kitchen knives. It's a shame so many are out of stock.

Cheap material and construction
Will not recommend. Not as sharp, cheap plastic handle with cheap steel

My new favorite price/performance knife
This is the best stamped chefs knife I’ve ever used. Made from 4Cr13 steel (New name: 40Cr13) is a martensitic type stainless steel, which has higher hardness than 3Cr13 steel after quenching. The steel has good mechanical processing performance. After heat treatment (quenching and tempering), it has good corrosion resistance, polishing performance, high strength and wear resistance. Other low-cost knifes (under thirty dollars US) usually have too large a handle (I wear men's large gloves and the handle for those knifes is uncomfortable for all day use) and are made from lower quality steel. This is a "not quite premium" quality blade. For blades with tougher steel you pay 5-10x as much. Thier advantage is that they require sharpening far less often. There are jobs where paying 20x as much for a super-premium steel make sense (sushi chef), but for most of us, most of the time this knife provides excellent sharpness, just enough blade flex, reasonably easy to sharpen and a comfortable handle. This is a knife I wouldn't hesitate to use in a restaurant kitchen for real work (if you loose it you won't cry too much, it won't slow you down and if you sharpen it once a week you'll maintain a sharp blade for at least a year or two).

Taglia più della spada
Avevo letto le recensioni, ma sono rimasto stupito di quanto e come taglia. Fuori e dentro dalla lavastoviglie senza perdere il filo. Soldi ben spesi.
