Sold off one of my old uniforms to get one of these sized to fit the model. I assumed these were “costume quality,” so imagine my surprise when it arrived and the only real difference between this and mine was the location of manufacture.Uniforms are all made in the USA, aka Saipan. The one I got said it was made in Haiti. Despite that, it looked and felt GI quality with real aramid cloth and pockets where they’re supposed to be.If you’re a pilot or flight crew who needs a -27P, these are legit. Just ignore all the other reviews complaining about sizing… either they don’t know how to measure themselves or they don’t understand that they’re sewn to fit best in a seated position.

I have to say I was cheap because I bought Aramid for ~$100 cheaper than Nomex. However it was melted in its first and only use after a brief fire exposure less than 3 seconds. Of course, Propper refused refund or exchange. Go Nomex, never trust Aramid and a single word in its product description

Way too friggin tight in the chest. Do pilots need to breath? How is it the rest fits great but the chest and crotch get compression suited. Its the lega that get squeezed to push blood to the core and prevent hypoxia not the reverse? Right?

It was considerably larger than by other 36L flight suit. The one I ordered put the bag in the phrase green bag.
