The punctures look intentional. Looks like a human image. Sent it back because I didn't ask for additional artwork (not as described). Waiting on a replacement from Amazon. Will edit if satisfactory.Edit: The replacement had more puncture marks than the first. Sending it back too.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very underrated product and for the price everyone should have one. It definitely does have a different sound to it, noticeable quieter than cork or rubber. Overall I’m very happy with it. In a world of corporations and businesses, the hand written note was a nice touch and they also gave a leather keychain in the package too which is really nice. Only thing I can say that they could improve is the packaging is the wrapped mat laying on a hardboard, this turned out to be ok for me but it’s the mail and i could see it being potentially damaged. I suggest sandwiching the mat between hardboards.

The appearance of the one I received was much nicer than the pictures in the advertisement. As with all leather products, the grain in the leather is always unique.

I been using this mat for a while now. Happy with performance Looks nice and it is quality product. Mist have.

Loved the packaging and quality BUT when you unroll it, it doesn’t lay flat. I had to leave several weights on it for two days for it to even remotely look like a vinyl matt. All in all, it looks great on my turntable and could recommend with that caveat.
