This is an expensive item. Great design.... which is what you pay for.... that and the name. Not too big. Unfolds into 3 oval dishes. Ideal for cupcakes, scones, party nibbles etc. Ideal for High Tea. Would not hold a large cake like a victoria sandwich, unless already cut into wedges. To store it folds upright, and the stand is sturdy with a handle so you can move it around easily. Very stylish, would look good in a display cabinet. won't take up much room. Would make ideal wedding gift. Probably not something you could justify buying for yourself because of the price.

A really top quality item that looks great

This cake stand is so beautiful. I leave it closed as the face looks so funny and guests have been puzzled as to what it is. I then unlock it, open the three shelves which lock again and surprise a very lovely cake stand, If I ever use it I will get some doilies.My cousin saw it and now she has one

I've always wanted to have a tiered cake stand and this is fabulous as it folds up small thus saving space. It goes with my othe Anna Alessi products, well worth the wait.
