Q: Can the pipe be used outside?

Yes it can. I have a line running to my gas grill. But, you need to run it in PVC pipe. Don't leave it exposed or just bury it in the ground.

Q: can it be buried underground, not embedded in concrete

In general, HOME-FLEX® can be routed: Through approved conduit underground or under building slabs. Under no circumstances is HOME-FLEX® to be routed underground or under slab unless it isrouted within a non-metallic water-tight conduit that is at least ½" larger than theouter diameter (OD) of the CSST tubing. Fittings and joints are not permissible insuch runs-the run must be one unbroken line of tubing. Runs underneath slabsmust be sleeved and vented per local codes.

Q: 5psi MAX writing on it... Has anyone gone further ?

Not recommended. Natural gas is only .5 psi. As in 1/2. The fitting won’t hold five. Why would you need five?
