Bought as a birthday present, no complaints from the 6 year old.

Working super good fair play.Except you don’t get a base to grow the crystals

The kids enjoyed colouring them in and seeing the crystals the next morning. The card was flimsy and easily bent on assembly. It was difficult to pour the solution on from the packet without it going everywhere, and the crystals didn't colour anything like as well as in the picture. They also fell apart very quickly and I've no idea if the crystal dust is safe to inhale or not so they were quickly binned, which is disappointing. We won't be buying more.Considering this is National Geographic branded, such a short lived product and the large amount of plastic involved in packaging and pens (which pretty much ran out during the colouring process) is not great.

Great item excellent quality exactly what I was expecting really good quality and quick delivery.

Not as good as promoted

A good gift for the enquiring mind.

Children loved it - until they had to wait.That photo was taken about an hour and a half after and they were impatient, my advice: Do this experiment before dinner, eat, watch the change and go to sleep for tomorrow's results, it says it takes 6-8 hours to finish the tree.One pen came dried and color markers take a while to paint everything well done, another advice: buy good color markers for this one, bigger and better, smaller kids may get tired and bored of painting.Overall it was a very good experiment still.

treea are a bit bendy and didnt really get the crystals colourful. my son was disappointed
