My 4-year old nephew loved this for his birthday! It was by far his favorite present, and he played with it the rest of his party, even forgoing opening the rest of his gifts!

"Beat Down" in my living room. I need to get this interaction on film, OMGosh who know ew that cats and Dinosaurs don't mix. We thought it would be a lot of fun to get this for our cats (and it is fun)....they love a good chase, and this thing moves! Well one cat heroically beat the tar out of this remote control toy until he knocked it over killing him dead ( in j-his eyes anyway-enemy vanquished) LOL Jokes on him, because he's ready for round 2. My 3 other cats hid under furniture and watched, but didn't engage. The next time we got t out, the cats came running when they heard the roar....and gently backed away..This remote control Dino is quite realistically detailed, and besides his roar, and his fiery eyes, he actually walks, no wheels like so many I've seen, This is a very realistic rendition and will please those know it all Dinosaur kids we all know, This guy moves pretty fast, which I wrongly thought the cats would appreciate, but no, they are 100% Scaredy Cats. This is still a blast to play with, since some of us have never grown up,(but hey, they didn't make such cool toys when we were kids- I mean, my prized 60s era remote control dog had an attached wire that was attached to a flashlight type control with 1 button, and he only barked and walked very slowly making lots of whirring noises, and needing to be drug down the sidewalk most of the time.) so I still enjoy a cool toy now and then for kicks. This is one of those cool toys. Maybe my Cats will warm up to "Dino" if not, I plan to scare the candy out of some unexpecting "Trick Or Treaters" come Halloween!Yes, Buy this one, even if you don't have kids, he will bring out the kid in you!!

Totally COOL, totally "fun" play for my five year old granddaughter!!! As soon as she got it recently, belated Christmas gift, she and her dad went to work playing with it and it was so much fun, a great "interactive" toy that she can play with alone, with friends her age, or with an adult, like her Dad.It's the coolest thing, really "innovative" type RC toy, something different and "waay" exciting! The remote functions pretty well, the dinosaur goes forward, backwards, has eyes that light up, and makes a pretty accurate roar, though the volume for "Me" is a little low. My grand daughter however, felt like it's sound capacity was just fine for her. Lol! She said she didn't want it too loud.... Lol!But OMG, it's like your on the "set" of "Jurassic Park" the Movie! But of course, on a much more miniature scale, for Kids, and Kids at Heart. That's the "feeling" I got, I'll tell you! It will be for her, the "Envy" of the neighborhood.... Great for boys or girls, anyone that loves or appreciates dinosaurs or "Prehistoric" type animals, history, action figures, games and so on.The dinosaur can be charged by USB, and the remote runs on batteries. Quality materials, design, and construction.Great "stimulating/educational," interactive, innovative, original toy! 5Stars!*****

Tips over easy doesn't stay up on carpet well.

I got this item to play with my cats with. At first they were absolutely terrified but I just let them run and hide while I roamed it all around the living room. It didnt take them long to come out to investigate, and then to begin the battle of the century, savage sabretooths against the mighty velociraptor. Sometimes the girls win, sometimes the raptor wins, and sometimes it's a draw because the raptor gets knocked over and forgotten while they fight one another for possession of the claim to victory.All in all, great good fun. It is usually more on its side, waving its legs in futility, than it is walking about doing raptor type things, but the recipients are delighted nonetheless.I dont know how it works when you play with it with human children, but the cats love it!

My kids love dinosaurs and this fits wonderfully in their collection! Super easy to assemble, and loads of fun! I have all hardwood floors with a few area rugs. Dinos struggles on the transfer to the rugs, but ramps made of thin plastic make for fun runways! Cardboard boxes make great caves to hide in! We are able to be creative and have loads of fun with this lil dino! The remote is fun as it is not a typical joy stick remote which makes the kids think and learn. All in all this is a grrrreat toy for my lil dino kids!

My daughter and my fiancé both love dinosaurs and I thought they will really enjoy this toy. They love it! It works really well, but I don’t think it was made to use on carpet as it tips over a lot. Other than that, it’s very easy to use. It goes forward, backwards, and it even turns left and right. It roars each time you press the buttons so it might startle little ones because there’s no way to adjust the volume. It’s not too loud though. The dinosaur looks very realistic and it’s a nice size, it’s not too big or small. This doesn’t bring batteries so make sure you have some on hand. Overall this is a fun toy, my daughter really enjoys it!
