Well Tested and Brilliant Performance; A Good Buy For Me!
Let me tell you that we went thro hell during February when the storms blew our fence to smithereens, seriously damaged shrubs and bushes, and plants too. Had a £2000 bill to repair the fence, which we gladly paid, and the job done was excellent. But the aftermath... Oh the aftermath from the storm damages. We had to uproot, shrubs and bushes, from roses to honeysuckles, and pyracantha's; not to mention dismantling the old blown down fence panels, fence posts etc. The mess in our back garden made it look like a bombsite. Dereliction lay everywhere.Fortunately I had bought this grass rake the year before; it had had a lot of use, and we found it invaluable; however, we have just finished clearing and repairing the debris and leaves, twigs, branches etc, with small cuts of wood from the debris of the fencing, and this Rake, let me tell you, did us proud! It made such light work of the debris and disaster in our back garden. I'm so glad I bought it.Someone inquired about it raking grass from stones in the comments? Well, once the new fence was up I had to uproot the roots of all the shrubs and bushes along the fence line, where grass and a lot (A Lot) of stones were uprooted with them. I used this grass rake, and it had no problem with the stones, some were really large too, but between the garden rake, and this grass rake they've done the job to my satisfaction.I have Absolutely No problem in recommending this grass Rake to anyone, and despite what 'the landscaper' said in his/her disinformation comment, I would have to seriously disagree; this garden Rake is very sturdy, and lightweight and durable. I may not be a landscape gardener, but I am a very enthusiastic and keen gardener; I tackle all jobs in my garden, which is large, and I wouldn't be without this grass rake. It's been awesome!

Makes clearing those autumn leaves a doddle.
Nice and wide with soft but sturdy grips makes this a very handy addition to the garden tools. We are surrounded by maple trees and despite the amazing colours every autum, clearing up the fallen leaves fills up 5 wheelie bins so a rake like this helps no end.The size of the carboard box it turned up in could have doubled for a biodegradable coffin which was a pain to recycle but I don't think that was the manufacturers fault.

A good rake, but could be stiffer.
Seems pretty durable and lightweight. However I find it could be stiffer. Excellent for raking up acorns, and, of course, leaves. Failed a bit with heavier items - well, it's a leaf rake! Overall, well made and does the job well.

Great rake but arrived with a broken handle
Annoyingly the rake arrived with a broken handle, about 5 inches from the top under the rubber. This is a bit disappointing as it's not going to be worth the while to repackage the rake and send it back. It came wedged into an enormous box! Not great from spear and Jackson who I would normally hugely rate as producers of high quality garden tools.

A very good and lightweight leaf rake
My last leaf rake gave up on me so after checking reviews on Amazon I opted for this. The rake is light in weight and is a decent length with a comfortable handle, the head of the rake is pretty wide so that'll mean that I can get the lawn done quicker - which can't be bad. I'm glad that I decided on this rake and I am happy to recommend

Really useful
I got this after I saw someone else using one. It’s great for clearing up a mess - a bit like a cross between a sturdy broom and a rake. Not strong enough for scarifying or picking up wet leaves but otherwise a great way to gather debris from all surfaces.

The Rake’s Progress
The saga of this rake! Once it arrived it was an excellent gift, but it took a long timeto reach its destination. I bought it for an elderly friend, to help with gather up grassand leaves. Unfortunately by the time it arrived autumn had turned to winter.Anyway, I’m sure it will be useful next year. The

Sturdy plastic leaf rake with hardwood shaft
Rubber cover on handle ripped, would have returned but need to use today. Good enough to rake leaves.
