Q: What is the difference between cacao and keto cacao?

Great question! You'll notice the ingredients are the same (100% organic cacao powder) but it's the process behind the powder that makes all the difference. Typical cacao or cocoa powder is made is by milling and cold pressing the cacao bean to extract all the fats (we sell these as our Cacao Butter). The remaining solids -fiber, minerals, antioxidants, etc.- become the cacao powder. In our Keto Cacao Powder, those fats are retained, resulting in a naturally high-fat cacao powder that can be used in smoothies, keto treats, baked goods, hot chocolate, and more. It's a great way to increase natural, healthy fats for satiety and energy!

Q: I'm curious about the % of cacao powder and the % reishi powder in the mix. What is it?

We hate to be coy with our answers, but the percentages are our proprietary blend! What we can tell you is that this powder is majority cacao, with a strong dose of reishi on the side. We formulated our Cacao+ Longevity and Cacao+ Antioxidant with both flavor and nutritional diversity in mind, and hope you enjoy the results. Nope! Our Cacao+ Longevity looks and tastes like cacao powder, with just a hint of earthiness within. You can use it like a regular cacao powder in smoothies, bowls, baked goods, hot cocoa and more, all while enjoying the added nutrients from our full-spectrum, triple-species reishi powder.

Q: How much caffeine is there per serving?

Navitas Organics Cacao Powder contains a minimal amount of naturally occurring caffeine: approximately 49mg per 15g (2.5 Tbsp.) serving. This is roughly equivalent to a half cup of coffee or 2 cups of decaf coffee
