PROXXON27024 Four jaw Chuck for Lathe DB 250, Black

Good

I was very surprised to desicover this is plastic, cheap and expensive for what it is. I doubt it would hold stock biggest than a few mm and even then you could not over tighten for fear of breaking the item. For the price it should have been metal. Not good Proxxon. Its a big point of failure on what should be a great item.

It was very small and poorly built

The product is tiny not worth half the price

Not what I thought it was my fault for not reading the description properly

Feels cheap wont be using

This was cheap - and nasty. Don't bother, pay a bit more for something which will work.

Poor quality product, snapped in half when I dig into the wood by mistake. Why would anyone make a plastic chuck?

Si bien conocia que la pieza esta realizada en plastico, lo cierto es me es dificil darle mas puntuacion viendo la calidad de otros productos proxxon. La calidad de fabricacion de este producto es dudosa a mi parecer. Entiendo que aun siendo de plastico cumplira su funcion correctamente (aun no he podido usarlo). Si observo algo mas, volvere a escribir.

seems to be strong and will work, not impressed with plastic type material used for caseing and the four chuck pieces. would have gave five stars if it was metal like its three chuck counter part.(real scale not apparent here, as a bigger one would be all steel).. will give it a go though
