I got this socket set for my engineer brother who says it is a good automotive socket set. This would not be suitable for anyone who does not wish to utilise it for automotive maintenance. As it was classed as a socket set then please be aware that this is not for any other purpose than as listed earlier; the listing itself is not clear in the title of the product so my brother asked me to get this for him to review not realising that it was for a specific purpose. A clearer description in the header would be useful, although later in the listing it does give some more information on the contents.The set arrives in a sturdy red plastic case (ideal for storing when not in use). The contents are well oiled against corrosion and each a specific place in the box. The overall quality looks good and like they will last for years to come.Priced at around £52 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, this is a good price for a set that a DIYer or an apprentice car mechanic could easily utilise; most car mechanics would however go on to buy a more professional brand. My brother continued by saying that he will use them for his own car maintenance and for the price he thinks they are a 'fantastic deal' and he is happy to recommend. He has awarded 5 stars as he was very impressed that they have a good amount of anti-corrosive oil on them so will store well if not used immediately.

This torx socket set came along at just the right time, I needed to remove 8 tt47 torx security bolts that have not been touched in years so was expecting trouble, I was worrying over nothing all 8 bolts came out easy I did give them a spray of wd40 before hand. At just under £60 for this torx socket set it seems a little high but this is a premium set of chrome vanadium sockets the set consists of 48 sockets in total some are torx some are torx security all come a neat carry box. The only thing I would of liked to see in the set is a rench but most of us already have one or two so no big deal breaker, To my surprise the set also comes with lifetime warranty that's a big bonus as not many sockets sets at this price range come with a lifetime warranty.

These tools seem to be sturdy and high quality and in my opinion are quite a good value for the money.This is a must-have if you need to tinker on your carSo far in my experience I have not run into any issues with any of the finished chipping off or wearing off of any of the sockets or bits.Very satisfied with this product so far

I am really impressed with this socket set. It’s a comprehensive set, including a wide range of torx bits for automotive applications. All the components are beautifully made, and seem to be very good quality, with a nice weight to them. All the parts are also well oiled to prevent corrosion and are neatly held in place in a sturdy plastic case.Overall a fantastic product that should last for many years. Recommended
