OspreyUltralight Drysack Backpack

I purchased this, because having multiple drysacks was sometimes a little too complicated. I also purchased this, not to fit in an osprey backpackThe pack i have put it in, it works well with. I’d guess the drysack is slightly larger than 20 litres, as the 20l pack i put it in, squashes the drysack ever so slightly. But a drysack that is slightly too big, is better than one than is too smallThe material is thin, very light, unobtrusive, and from using other osprey drysacks using the same material, will keep your stuff dry in a rainstormAlso, being 20litres, and the roll function feeling quite strong, if you absolutely were in a pinch and needed a shopping bag, this would do it for smaller lighter items. It feels strong enough for that. I’m not so sure i’d use heavy sharp items in it though. Fruit, sandwiches, would all be fine. As i said on a review for a different item, when hiking, sometimes things have to be used outside of their original intention!

Awesome gym bag add on to keep your bag clean. It’s a bag, it folds over at the top forming a pretty much air tight seal. Brilliant. Not sue if it will go into the washing machine. We will see!

L'ho comprata per fare un'avventura in bikepacking legata al portapacchi della mia bici.Inizialmente ero un po' scettico perché è molto sottile e avevo paura che potesse entrare acqua o si potesse strappare se trattata male.Alla fine mi sono ricreduto, è stata attaccata bella stretta con delle cinghie al portapacchi per 500km e ha preso due giorni pieni di pioggia (legata sul portapacchi ha anche fatto il lavoro di parafanghi) e non è entrata nemmeno una goccia, nonostante ad un certo punto fosse davvero zuppa fuori.Super leggera, super comoda, economica, la ricomprerei.

Bought this color because it’s reduced while classic colors remain full price. It’s so good to pack wet/damp stuff after dive trips n strong colors stand out from bunch of bags on boat with many divers.

The drysack has been likely stored without any protection in some very dusty storage area or it is quite old. It was in its original packing which covers only half of the product (for obvious reasons so that the colour and material can be seen in a shop). The non-covered part was very dirty and I had to was the bag to use it. Not a big thing as such but didn't give a good impression of the vendor.The product itself is as described. I bought the 20l bag for my sleeping bag. It was the right size, I can put my three-season bag sideways at the bottom and roll the bag tight. My winter bag fits also, even if not sideways. The material is very light and seems to be strong enough for my use. However, this kind of sacks are not very convenient for backpaking due to the method of closing, i.e. rolling it closed. When rolling, air will not get out, so attention has to be made that air is pressed out before doing the rolling. Otherwise this sack takes unnessary space and removes the benefits of compressing the sleeping bag. I'm not going to buy more of them.
