I'm not sure of where it is çoming from, it seems to be coming from all areas of the blanket (see attached photos). With that said, I'm going to have take back some stars, changing to 3.I love the blanket and it keeps me asleep, weight is good, it's just leaking. I don't see any torn or separated seams?********************************Okay, I received my weighted blanket on October 18th & my Duvet Cover on October 17th, both received on time as stated.Okay now for the review! I have not tried the weighted blanket before now, so this is my first time and I have mixed emotions. I read the reviews for different sites, and wow they differ so much. The description that I read for this blanket said it had glass beads, but mine, the one I received has sand in it. Check out my video.Getting this out of the box, into the duvet cover and on my bed, OMG was a serious workout!!! 🙂 I mean it weighs a ton, not really only 25 lbs, but wow, I had to take a nap after putting it finally on my bed.Okay, for me this was so time consuming 1) because I had to figure out the assembly of the duvet cover and the weighted blanket and tying them together. After inserting the blanket into the cover, I discovered I had it going the wrong direction, it did not sit correctly. 2) After readjusting the blanket in the cover and sleeping with it for about a week, I hated the cover. The blanket would shift and it would be all on one side weighing the heck out of me. I guess because of the material the cover is made of, the blanket slips and slides so to speak.So now I sleep with the blanket only, which I find is much better. I'm able to be covered fully and sleep comfortably throughout the night. And it fits you like a glove, a great big snugly hug.PROS:I love the weight of my blanket, it's 25 lbs and is not too heavyIt's described as they say it isThe size is just right for my California King bed, if you like to just fit. It is not hanging over the sidesI'm a side sleeper so it's comfortable and helps with keeping my legs straight instead sleeping in a fetal position, I need to have knee surgery and my knees are always hurting during sleepingI love the color and the material seem to be a good quality and the craftsmanship is good so farGreat purchaseCONSIt does get hot under the blanket, so I keep my thermostat at about 70 degrees, and my ceiling fan on low and I can sleep comfortably through the night, before, I would get up and turn down the thermostat, turn on the ceiling fan, and trust me when I say I'm a cold nature person and can take a lot of heat. So if you're a hot nature person, you may have to adjust your temperature to accommodate a good night's sleep.It's very heavy, depending on weight you purchase, but if you have any problems with heavy lifting you may need help, which is what I needed since I live alone, but did it by myself anyone.Do not buy the duvet cover if you don't think you need, especially if you think it's going to "help" with the weighted blanket, because in my opinion it does not.Overall, after sleeping with just the blanket for a week, I'm much happier than I thought originally. If you've never tried the weighted blanket, try it, it comes in different weights and there is a size for everyone, this is a good purchase and I would recommend this blanket!!

This is a great blanket! It is very thin- so it's fun to have guests to our home try to lift it because it looks like a light blanket lol. It's very soothing- I found it most comforting when I had a bad cold and had body aches- it was so comforting. I use it every night, I do stick my feet out though! Love it. Well made, strong seams, lift tabs around the edges, and the fabric is soft and smooth.

I purchased this weighted blanket, size 60" x 80" in the 15lb weight. Although I'm sending this one back for the 20lb weighted blanket in the exact same size and cream color, I can tell you that this particular brand is constructed with top quality craftsmanship and incredibly soft 100% cotton outer fabric. I inspected the blanket under bright light and was amazed at the heavy duty stitching and accuracy of not just the outer edges of the blanket, but also the individual squares themselves. Each square has it's own quantity of glass beads in them and each squared off area is approximately 6" x 6", similar to a floor tile.There are many reasons why one would have a need for a weighted blanket and for me, they're all sorts of medical reasons, anxiety, restless leg, etc., so the actual weight of the blanket is very important to me to get the full effects of a weighted blanket. Although it says 15lbs, it's really just over 13lbs. For reference and to help you decide on your weight, I weigh 130lbs and am 5'7" tall. This exact blanket may be perfect for some people as they say the blanket should be roughly 10% of your own body weight. I did a few hours of research on these blankets, even going to consumer reports and other survey websites to be sure that I was looking at the blankets with great reviews and the positive features about each type. I knew I wanted a blanket that was about 12 to 15% to help me, so I'm going with the 20lb and assuming that one will also be slightly less than stated.Some of these blankets have additional layers of either polyester or cotton fill, this blanket does not have an extra thick layer of that fill, but it does have a thin layer of fill as the glass beads made no sound while I was putting it on my bed. In fact, when the blanket is folded up into the manufacturer's bag, it's no more than 8-10" thick. This is the type that I was searching for and there are many that are much puffier, if that's what you're looking for. I didn't add a photo because it looks exactly like the online pictures.These blankets are also not meant to drape over the edges of the bed, rather they're best if they just fit the top portion of your full size or queen size bed (for the 60" x 80"). The cream color is a beautiful muted, pale yellow, not bright at all. There are also 3 loops along the top and bottom edge and a loop in the middle of each side of the blanket, making a total of 8 loops and very secure if you want to put a duvet cover on it. If you want to extend the life of your blanket, it may be a good idea to add the cover and this company sells them separately. I'll update my review within the next couple of days once my 20lb blanket comes in. But it's definitely a 5 star product, a great value in terms of money and I'd recommend to anyone trying to decide which one of the many to decide on!

Great product but if you are looking at a light tan color beware of pictures on web site ...Product accurately is dark grey , spoke to Amazon today and they said they will correct images to reflect real color of item...Otherwise terrific product for money!!!!

Amazing blanket for the price. I’m 200lbs, my girlfriend is 120lbs and we both enjoy the 30lb blanket. Sleeping has never been an issue for me luckily but my sleeps are much deeper with this blanket. Makes it hard to get out of bed. I’m also a hot sleeper (usually sleep with a fan on year around) and I have no over heating issues with this blanket like some others. Great quality and comfort. Would definitely buy again.

I bought this blanket because I already have a "winter" one in heavier weight fabric. I was swayed by the promise of cooling bamboo but it absolutely is not cooling. It is lighter (in weight) than my other blanket but it makes no difference really to the heat factor. Fabric is nice but not as advertised.

Das Gewicht ist gut verteilt und fühlt sich angenehm an, insbesondere für entspannte Nächte.Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist jedoch die Atmungsaktivität. In wärmeren Nächten kann es etwas zu warm werden, was den Schlafkomfort beeinträchtigen könnte. Trotzdem vergebe ich vier von fünf Sternen, da die Qualität und das Wohlbefinden, das die Decke bietet, überzeugen.
