I was a bit worried reading other reviews about the quality of the shield, but decided to order anyway as a present for my friend's son. Despite careful packaging (and a huge box!), the shield arrived damaged - dented and with one of the straps detached. So I crossed my fingers and ordered a second - this time the shield was OK although again the strap was detached so I had to get the glue out - I couldn't face sending it back for a second time. And overall, the shield is pretty flimsy and as per other reviews I don't think it will last long.
