I have been using these in the metal shop and they are very good for the value. Well-made and strong enough to hold whatever you are clamping to.

I used the clamps and they worked well, I like the fact that the threaded area where the screw goes is spot welded for strength! Time will tell on longevity of these clamps but so far so good.

Not the most heavy duty construction and are a little wobbly (all deep throat clamps are) when not on use, but they have good clamping strength and I suspect they will last for a while. They were essential tools for a job I had doing steel panel cladding. In some cases I used all the force I could get out of them, and they didn't fail.

For the money they work as good as the expensive clamps

These are cost effectively built, but they hold stuff together so you don't have too. They are just a decent built tool that I have no reason to belive they will not last for years. One of those cases where there's really no reason to spend the extra money on the name brand.

Locking pliers are dis-engaged by moving the release lever away from the handle that has the adjustment screw. Unlike other brands, the release lever is fairly straight, which results in the release lever being much to close to the handle. There is little room for your finger to actuate the lever. The good news is the the lever is wider at its' pivot point, so it can't cock sideways and completely miss hitting over-center mechanism making dis-engagement really difficult (i.e. Harbor Freight's product).

Was looking for 1 or 2 of these clamps for welding. At this price point these are great. They may not have perfect fit or finish but at this price that are well worth it. Clamp solid and easy to use, what more do you need. Sure the rubber handle would be nice, but with welding I like the bare metal more.
