I use this for teaching my dog to accompany me up and down stairs at my pace. The extendable handle means it's easy to keep my back straight. The small target is just big enough to put a tempting treat on to keep my dog interested whilst learning

I'm guessing the idea with making the ball out of foam was to give them something soft for their noses to touch, but it also seems to make it into a fun thing for puppy to attempt to chew. Training with it is going ok, but she inevitably starts trying to eat it a minute or two in, even with chicken readily available, so it has to be in very short bursts.Love that it extends. Great piece of equipment. Might need a material re-think.

Great product, light, good length, and ball is blue (hope this is standard) so a good colour for dogs to see. V handy pocket sized.Top tip: make sure it's fully closed before putting it in your back pocket! My first one bent, but it wasn't the product's fault!

This target stick is brilliant it’s light and small enough to fit in a deep pocket like cargo pockets no noise as it opens up great value for money saves my back no bending

I bought this stick for a walk with my pet but I am very disappointed because it's not what it use to be. It's much thinner, and the top ball is much smaller than before. Very disappointed !

Used this to teach my dog to walk to heel. Quickly learnt what was needed but it was a bit fiddly juggling the stick / training lead / treats etc to operate. But overall it worked so very happy!

Using it to train my cat and teach her to follow the target. Long range as well.

My dog took two this target sticker right away. I am a service stock handler. I’m using the Target stick to teach my girl how to turn on and off the lights and it is working like a charm. She took it right away and I am so happy I decided to purchase this. This item feels really good in the hand, and it feels sturdy, I like the quality of the device

This is a well made, sturdy target stick even when fully extended. The ball tip is small but that is a good thing as it makes it less likely the dog will see it as a "ball" that is supposed to be played with/put in the mouth.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a good target stick for a small dog or puppy. The red ball at the end is smaller than a ping-pong ball. It's very light with a hard sponge-like feel. The extendable handle makes it good for a variety of training activities.

Nice firm/tight-fitting telescopic feature that doesn't slip or close accidentally. The ball at the end is all of the size of a grape... not sure why people are complaining about it being too big. Any smaller and the animal wouldn't even recognize it.
