Killzone (PS2)

Game works perfectly, brings back memories.

The one I had wouldn't play from alot of game time so I ordered this one and it is as I remember from playing it it is a easy game to get into and I do enjoy playing this game a great shooter game

It's just a really generic sci-fi war shooter. And a very average one too. Everything about it is generic and average. The shooting, the environments, the enemies, the story, the characters. Would still rather play this than Halo, though. This "Halo killer" didn't kill Halo for me, because it was already dead to me.

I just feel compelled to write about this game. I have read all the great reviews and well, am I missing something, is there another button I should be pressing to play this game to make it as great as they and the mags say.. Probably not!! Call me stupid but if I were an enemy fighting against some insurgent I wouldn't be shouting out where I was, but the Helghast do, are they a bit stupid (I think so).Yes the graphics are great but that doesn't make a great game, and this is not a great game. In short if you like shoot, shoot, shoot, like to be told where the enemy is and like to be told where to go and like a quick end then this is the game for you.Killzone only gets 1 star because the graphics are so good but definitely a worn PS2 thumbs down.

Perhaps in 2004 when it came out it was an impressive game. In 2008 I found it to be highly over-rated- simple plot, unimpressive choice of weapons, unsophisticated tasks (even on the hardest levels).

This was one of my fave ps2 titles back in the day and it still delivers! Multiple playable characters and weapons to choose from and great cut scenes. Very engaging story and a real feeling of 'GET DOWN!!' as the bullets fly. Well worth the money and very impressed to receive a brand new copy as well (still in the original cellophane!) Was also delivered nearly a week early. Great service and a great game.Give it a go if you're a ps2 shooter fan, you won't regret it!

killzone is a fantastic First person Shooter game for the Playstation 2, as it has a amazing single player campaign which will take you around 18 - 20 hours to complete , and whilst your not shooting enemies in this simply awesome game you will just love watching the cut scenes and letting the deap storyline unfoldIt's a simple must have if you like FPS or have played any of the Killzone games beforeGraphics 6/10plot 10/10Overall gaming experience 10/10
