Q: This comfy blanket hoodie say "Sherpa" & show sherpa lining. Other's products do not & show lining. Are there two different products?

Just got one for my daughter. Not Sherpa lining-just thick fleece. She needs something thicker and warmer when outside (between meets at tournaments). Will probably keep for myself but order her something thicker.

Q: When placed flat, what does it measure side to side under arms and mid section?

I didn't measure it, but the neighbor I gave it to wears about a 3X, and she loves it. My wife on the other Hand wears between a 5X and 6X and this wasn't large enough. I'd guess it's "oversize" to someone who wears a large or smaller normally.

Q: What size would you get for an adult who’s 4’11”?

I think it's one size fits all. I would guess that it would drag the floor for someone 4'11".

Q: how do you keep cold air from rising up from the open bottom? are there ankle cuffs or buttons to close it up like a sleeping bag?
