Very pretty!
I ordered this AnSaw Silver Swan Base Holder With 5 Pairs Stainless Steel Chopsticks as we love Chinese food and lately our delivery place keeps forgetting to put in the chopsticks I’ve asked for. I also stir fry and cook some Chinese dishes and these will be great for those too. The day they were due to arrive we ordered Chinese food to test them out, and they are very good. They have a design on the top and point of the chopstick, they are easy to hold and use and wash up easily, unlike wood ones which are single use. The swan is very pretty holding the chopsticks, and there is plenty of room to add more pairs of chopsticks to it, I might keep them in the swan on my counter all the time or only use the swan when we are serving food to use with the chopsticks. I really like the feel of the chopsticks in my hand, the weight is just right, slightly heavier than wooded ones but feels perfect to me, and easy to use, I was able to grab my dumplings without dropping them, lol. I would recommend this product, they are very nice. The chopsticks could also be kept in a drawer without the swan if desired so not to take up counter space. I think they will be living in my China hutch between uses as they are pretty and look nice in there.

Nice but a little slippery
My family likes sushi which we eat fairly regularly and we use chopsticks when we eat it. We have some plastic / acrylic chopsticks we don't like so we usually use the wooden ones from the restaurant. Seeing these I thought we could be a little more ecological by using stainless steel instead of the wood.Overall they were pretty nice. Looked nice with some etched designs and they have a bit of texture at the tips to help them grip the food. That said, I dropped the first piece of sushi I grabbed in my lap. I think the sticks could use a bit more texture at the tips to make gripping the food easier. That said, by the end of the meal I figured out they work fairly well if I just squeeze a little harder than I am used to doing with wooden sticks. Time will tell over multiple uses but so far they seem like a nice product and they are certainly easy to wash by hand or they can go in the dishwasher.

Good Value
These are attractive and easy to use and clean. For me, they are little on the light side as I like utensils on the heavier side. That said, they're very functional and most people will like them.In my real world test with pot stickers, I found one issue - the grip at the bottom is not quite enough and requires a little more force to hold food in place. For me, the steel needed a bit more texture at the bottom to better grip food. I lost a pot sticker but fortunately only to the bowl. A little more force and the issue was solved. While I like the appearance and the ability to reuse, traditional wood/ bamboo serve me just as well. These would be great if you had company and wanted to dress up the event.

Lovely and practical design that works as represented
The AnSaw metal chopsticks are exactly as described and work exactly as expected. The hollow design, a feature intended to avoid transmission of scalding heat, has the added benefit of making them lighter than a solid design. Although they might still be a bit heavier than traditional, wooden chopsticks, it really isn’t by much and I quickly became accustomed to them.I was a bit concerned about the slickness of steel compared to wood, but found I was able to grip sushi and sashimi without any problem at all. Essentially, this should not be a concern at all.The top end of the sticks are engraved with a design and with the Chinese character for “luck”. I found that it makes for a very attractive design marred only by the marking “SUS 304” to indicate the grade of steel. I don’t know if this is a legal requirement in parts of the world, but find it somewhat detracts from the otherwise beautiful design. After washing, I did note some water stains on the chopsticks. These rub off easily but it is something to keep in mind for guests.Otherwise, I really like these. Five stars and highly recommended.Methodology:Five Stars: Highly RecommendedFour Stars: RecommendedThree Stars: YMMVTwo Stars: PassOne Star: Hard Pass
