Worth the extra money for a quality unit
I purchased another diffuser which was totally unsatisfactory, so decided to pay a little more for this one and have been very happy. It's fairly big (check the dimensions), but the added size means it is a lot less likely to leak. The mist produced is sufficient to diffuse oils well around a room. I also really prefer the white light in this model, rather than the tacky RGB ones in cheaper models. The BLOOM also defaults to the light being OFF which is another small feature I prefer. The water shut-off feature works nicely without leaving too much water remaining in the bottom (particularly important if you like using citrus oils like me that will erode over time). It is a quiet unit -- it has a little hum and you can hear subtle water movement but certainly not obtrusive and will be covered by any other background noise.I've not had the unit long enough to comment on the power pack issues that others experienced, but I'll update it is does fail. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars for me at the moment is that is a.) didn't come with a filling jug (the other I tried, at half the price, did) and b.) it doesn't have any light to indicate when the unit in on/operating. Otherwise, very happy I paid the extra for this. Will probably buy another one soon.

Don't hesitate, just buy it!
Overall product was exactly if not better than I thought it would be. It was used on a exhibition stand in a 'spa themed' area. I wanted something that would look stylish, give off a subtle mist and send a wonderful aroma around the massage area to enlighten the senses of our delegates. It did all those things brilliantly. Personally I think it's the best looking diffuser on the market at the moment but it would of been nice to have had a white one instead of the slate coloured top. The slate grey could be a little dark for some people when it's not being illuminated.I'd never seen, let alone used a aroma diffuser before but it was very easy to use. Simply plug in, lift the top off, pour the water in, pour 5-6 drops of your chosen essential oil into the water, pop the top back on and press the vapour button to start it off! Voila! (you can then press the 'light bulb' button to start the pulsing or static illumination)I would definitely recommend this product. It would also make a great gift as the packaging looks great too!

WOWeeeeee, what a beautiful device this is...
BLOOM Aroma Diffuser - Ultrasonic, Aromatherapy, Ioniser - Slate What a beautiful statement piece and product.Absolutely love the bloom and I question why I have spent so much money on Yankee, Jo Malone etc etc candles that are harmful to my health and more so cost far too much. This little machine is sexy, it provides a great ambience in any room and when used with the Zen purity signature oils is just divine (sold by same seller and come as a set of 5) - they will last you a very long time, and a little goes a long way - it lasts approximately 18 hours on the intermittent mode and maybe 6-8hrs if constant, that said it has longevity and distance and will leave your home smelling beautifulThis device will pay for itself if you are into candles - i will never look back and neither will you once you try it.Get it, i promise you won't regret this beauty and it will leave you feeling wonderful every time you use it.

Slightly plasticky looking, but nice design and works really well
I keep saying everything is excellent, but it is probably because I do tons of research before I buy any product. I drive my family mad, but it does mean I am rarely disappointed. So again, I am very pleased with this diffuser. It takes a good amount of water so lasts a long time. Slightly confusing as to whether it is on constant or intermittent as you cant always remember if you pressed the button once or more or whether you pressed it hard enough in the first place, so I have been looking at the shadow on the mist on the wall. You can set the light to a preferred level. Would prefer it to look a little less plasticky and it is quite large, but love the shape and it works really well. So would recommend and am thinking of buying more.

high hopes but under-delivered due to it's noise level for bed time use.
Much hyped brand so I thought I would give it a try. Arrived nice packaged and very timely. Easy to follow instructions, but didn't say what 'corrosive oils' that may damage the ceramic base, which I found a bit confusing. All it tells you is not to put oils such as citronella in the device, but I wonder what other oils are considered corrosive? still need to google to find out what oils are 'corrosive' to diffusers.I bought it with the intention to help me sleep better at night with nice soothing relaxing oils. but the level of sound it makes with the vibrating water and slight motor running in the background, kept me awake for the whole night. After trying it out for three nights in a row, I declared it's not helpful in the bedroom for light-sleepers who find water trickling/motor humming sound a distraction to fall asleep.Overall I would say it's good, but the claim to 'help you sleep' could be overrated plus the a fuller list of 'corrosive oils' could be provided in the instruction manual to help clarify over what's not allowed to go in the device to prevent breakage.

Like a lot of people I was getting sick and ...
Like a lot of people I was getting sick and tired of spending money on plug ins and reed diffuser, that just didn't work after a couple of days. So after over a week of researching aroma diffusers, I decided to purchase this one. WOW what a product!! Your house smells nice within minutes and it's so easy to use.I did think £40ish was a lot to pay, but when you add up how much you can spend on other air fresheners (that don't work), you will soon get your money back.I use it with a fresh linen oil, that I purchased from Amazon and it smells divine.I will be getting another one for upstairs, when they come back into stock. If like me you can't decided because of the mixed reviews on the others, then purchase this one. It's not often I give anything 5 stars.
